hopefully they're speak a bit clearer than McConaughey and Harrilson did and I won't have to rewind vital conversations half a dozen time to pick out what they're saying Smiley

lol I actually watched it accidently with subtitles on, but chose not to remove them for this reason

I don't seem to remember it being that bad, but I'll have to watch a few episodes again to be sure...

Just watched 'Crossbones', which is based on Blackbeard, and has John Malkovich in the lead role.

Only 1 season, but was a good show, and the head to head with the other lead character 'Tom Lowe' was pretty good viewing.

As Sons and Boardwalk are nearing their finale's i thought i would try out Ray Donovan.

Been very impressed so far (5 episodes in ) , the casting of Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight is spot on.

I like Ray Donovan, I'm quite into it.

Started Ray Donovan earlier today, and after 10 minutes, I have a feeling we're going to get along very well Cheesy

BTW if you havent started, the Leftovers on Sky Atlantic is amazing, first few episodes are ok, but then the final 6-7 are remarkable.

Normally watch these sort of programmes by myself, but decided to encourage the wife in on this one.

If I hear "I don't get it" once more, you will see my name in the papers.....and we are only two episodes in!

I know what you mean but I tend to trust the writers of this show to deliver more than almost any other.  So many series of this have been slow early on and then delivered in style.

Said it before, but I find the episodes where there's just boobs and shooting tedious. It's like the writers had got to 3pm on a Friday and added some filler.

Shame they finished AR off without us seeing the end. I believe he died in a card game IRL, in what could have been a well-rounded few scenes. All I can think is it's on the Cutting Room floor somewhere.

The van Alden character is about two series past its use by date. Getting beyond contrived now.

I am two episodes in to the last series BTW. Rest is on the hard disk recording system.
