Taskmaster still providing real laugh out loud moments.

I had some concerns about the line up when it was announced, but the first episode was as good as any episode without Bob Mortimer can be.

Speaking of St Bob, Mortimer and Whitehouse Go Fishing is rather good in a gentle thoughtful way.

I love that gentle, meandering, unhyped type of show. They don't come along too often.

Their is a very relaxed relationship between the two that is impossible to fake and which draws you in to the conversation.

It’s made me wonder whether my old fishing rod is still serviceable.

The Kominsky Method is back!

Series 2, and (at least the first episode) is every bit as good as the first.

Wonderfully well written comedy.

Meanwhile, for those that prefer “cops on the trail of a serial rapist” type series, I can highly recommend Unbelievable (Netflix). Some idiosyncratic acting/actors, but well worth persevering with.

I've started to watch some series I never got round to watching. Finished Dexter and now on the final series of Breaking bad, both brilliant.

If you haven't seen it can highly recommend Better Call Saul once you have done breaking bad.

We're ding the same; rewatching BB before watching El Camino. It's even better second time through, but we feel differently about some of the main characters to first time through (Walt and Jesse particularly). I think we over-binged it first time round and are savoring it more now. Better Call Saul is great too, but not sure I feel like they're managing to transition Saul or Mike from the protagonist of BCS to the 'orrible people they are in BB. Guess we'll get there eventually.

Second viewing, from earlier than I remember. As early as season 1 we're feeling he's a selfish, vain, cowardly and manipulative character.

And second time through, we're more sympathetic to Jesse from the outset. First time round we bought into the waster junky image we're presented with at the start, but second time through we were routing for him from the very early on and feeling really sorry for him. Poor Jesse  Cry Can't wait to see what's next for him.

For anyone feeling slightly nervous about it, El Camino was a worthwhile watch.

I'll keep it spoiler-free for those waiting to watch it.  Ironically, it kicked off a desire for us to re-watch Breaking Bad after seeing it.

9:20pm Sky channel 327.

One of my top 3 films of all time: 12 Angry Men.

I've seen it a dozen times but I can't help but watch it again.
