i'm slightly confused - who is paying for it all? gl gl.

Tristan has some rich friends who owed him some favours and they are stumping up the cash.

They get 50% of any tournament winnings plus 50% of the book sales (assuming one or two get sold..)

Pretty sweet deal for the players (ie Tristan and me plus the guests) if you ask me!

Really challenging month ahead..

Flying to Vegas for the WPT Championship $25,000 at Bellagio tomorrow, then don't even time to go home, one night in London and off to Monte Carlo for the EPT Grand final.

It is all part of the www.withnailspokerschool.com project which I'm lucky to be involved with.

The guests for these two tournaments are the original blonde, Dave Colclough and probably the best tournament poker player in the UK Julian Gardner.

There will be blogs and stuff n the site.

Let's hope I can go a bit further than at the Vic and in Dublin recently.

gl us!

maybe 7 years ago keith.

I am not so sure about that.

He virtually doesn't play tournaments nowadays except the wsop and his record in that bears comparison with any other player in Britain.

He cashed in the main event 4 years running I think.

He is awesome.

whats the profit/loss looking like so far(incl. expenses)?

would def be interested in reading the book

Can't really go into details, but seeing as my 11th in the WSOPE and Tristans mincash in Amsterdam are our only cashes so far (no guest has even made a day 2 yet in any event!) it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out we are doing the investors collective bollocks so far!

Maybe you should be looking for alternative guests, I'm sure Tighty would guarantee a day 2 appearence having just watched his stack being blinded away on day 1.

Tristan finished 6th in the GUKPT Cardiff ME last year for £6,000. I thought that was part of the schedule or was it a warm up event?

It's not about the GUKPT being up there with the big events or otherwise, it's just that both Keith and Tristan were in Cardiff and I seem to remember Keith saying it was the start of it all.
