I always liked the oldish dealer with the grey ponytail.
Harvey.
Top man. Takes no shit from anyone.
Very dry sense of humour bordering on seeming like a miserable git but if you know how to get on with him he's great.
Bit like a young version of BAM I suppose.

Who's Mr happy then ?? lol
The 50+ geezer who worked behind the bar and was going out with the petit dealer who seemed to about to give birth for months.
I quite liked him. I'm not there as often as you though.
Shaun, nice bloke, generally happy, god damn good bar man as far as I'm concerned.
Nice bloke to share a poker table with to.
His girlfriend was Charlotte the dealer, pretty sure he must have done a little dance every morning he woke up.
Maybe you and I simply occupy parallel universes ?
Sean's a really nice bloke. I've always got on well with him and shared a good few laughs.
Perhaps he's just miserable with you because he doesn't like you?
If I were you I'd take it personally because he's great with everyone else.
Matt makes a fair point.
Bainns post make me miserable.
Shauns 'Hey up mate, any luck today, Guinness?' always made me smile.

He's not left has he?? It amuses me the way he commentates on everything.
Harveys awesome. You find him everywhere, he's freelance I believe.
He's amusingly miserable and entertaining.
Lots of good dealers at DTD. Some of the newer ones are really good, even though they're still learning. I like the dealers who can smile and have a laugh with the players, as well as keeping the game going. On the whole, the dealers are a lot more pleasant than the punters.

That's Harvey.
Been dealing for years. He also used to play cash almost nightly at the Gutshot back in the day. Not sure about now seeing as I don't play live much at all.
He had a heart attack a few years back but you wouldn't know it. You couldn't tell by the way he deals though - wants to keep the game at as fast a pace as possible. Just one of the old school who works hard.

He never dealt at Gutshot.
Maybe the International, though I've never been.

I like Harvey, dry old bugger that he is but he needs to work on his shuffle.
His dealing is fine but his shuffling tilts me.

It's just this sort of crap noisy riffle with groups of five or ten cards together that I find grates rather like fingernails on glass.

Sigh.
"Having a pop ?"
No, simply providing clarification re the original post that a particular barperson did not leave of his own volition, plainly my view of him is different but that's based on my observations of him & his attitude towards other customers plus the stories I have been told.
*Shrug*
Mr Russel, he was not miserable to me or Helen in our dealings at the bar but thanks for your input.

You've never met Red-Dog, Mitch and Jakally when they're told that the kitchen is closed.
