Moving on......

Some issues - plural - which involve Kev have come to light this week, & already appear to be circulating in the domain.

I was fully of informed them on Sunday & Monday, in both cases by Tighty. He came to Luton last Sunday especially to make me aware of what was going off, having told me whilst I was in Vegas that some matters needed urgent attention, but would best be dealt with, one to one, upon my return. I understand Tighty was made aware via a variety of sources.

Since then, considerable time & energy has been spent dealing with them, & putting some things right. I also wanted time to reflect fully on the matters before taking any further action.

We are not dealing with gossip, rumour, or hearsay here. We are dealing with cold hard facts, all of them proofed in writing.

Yesterday, in Swansea, Tighty & myself spoke to Flushy, who, as the majority shareholder here, was entitled to be consulted.  He agreed with the view of Tighty & myself that, no matter how awkward the timing, & possibly regrettable, these matters need addressing.

I have just spoken to Kev personally, which, believe me, was not an easy call to make. I suggested to him that he should take a break from blonde, & I outlined why. He was not exactly thrilled with my line, but he agreed.

I have now spoken to Tighty, & Kev's Modship, & Membership of blonde, have both been removed.

I take full responsibility for the final decisions, although Tighty, Flushy & myself are all 100% in agreement on this.

Other actions, involving others, may or may not follow, as the matters develop.

Although it's been very difficult to handle, in my heart of hearts, I am absolutely certain that the actions taken were 100% necessary, & appropriate, despite the extremely awkward timing. Much as I flinched at the thought, I'm afraid that the nettle had to be grasped.

Kev has spent more time on blonde than anyone, & been an unpaid Mod for almost all of it, for which I am very grateful. He's also been a good mate to me & many others. I'm also fully aware that he is going through difficult times right now. I hope he gets everything in his life back in order very soon, I really do. For now, he will have to manage without blonde, & us without him.

Probably putting myself in the firing line here, but there are two sides to every story, and from what i've heard Kev's not had the chance to properly explain his corner and I believe he's in the process of sending you an email right now Tikay with some screenshots which prove he is not as guilty of certain things as people might think.  Could this thread not be left until he's had a proper right to reply and all loose end's tied up?  Seems like jumping the gun a bit imo.

I can understand why you would think that, Claire. We are of the view that it's been left long enough already, & we needed to be seen to dealing with certain matters, particularly in the light of how the blonde stakeholders would be viewed if & when matters circulate further. The question then would be why did blonde not deal with these matters earlier?

Well, I've known a week now, & have personally sorted some of them myself. Regrettably, I don't believe I, or we, could delay further.

Equally I'm sure Tikay/Tighty/Flushy wouldn't do this without very good reason.

Noted Matt. Your argument is presumably that we should say nothing. What happens when we are then asked "where is he?". How do we answer that - ignore it? What happens if the matters get Posted by others before we acted, how would we & I be viewed then?

I thought it through long & hard, believe me.

I'm aware I'll get some stick, & so be it, but it's odd, given that I've done nothing improper, & have in fact, & at my own cost, righted a wrong.

You are making implications which people will naturally want to know more about.

If people want to know why he's been banned just say "Sorry but it's none of your business. This is my house and the door's shut to Kev for reasons I do not wish to disclose"
