That would be me.  I was unconscious at the time as been acknowledged by the other party.  I was unaware that it was being filmed and subsequently circulated amongst a select group of people.  
Obviously respect for my privacy wasn't afforded to me and I believe this episode may be one of the other issues Tikay is referring to in his posts on this thread.

Watching a video of someone having sex, taken without permission, is about a million times greater invasion of privacy than an ex partner looking through your computer files.

Watching the video is not against the law however. Accessing someone's computer information without their permission is quite a serious criminal offence (Computer Misuse Act 2005) http://www.lancs.ac.uk/iss/governance/rules/cmisuse.htm

I know nothing about this particular instance, just talking generally of course.

an absolute over reaction on tikay,tighty and flushys part imo. the brendan incident could have and should have been dealt with privately and would have saved both sides alot of anquish and embaressment.

but i think it runs deeper than that, the video incident and subsequent conversation about it on msn seem to be the reason some parties are looking to destroy kev.

the video incident as kev stated wrong, but it had been dealt with months ago by the parties involved so why it has been brought up again god knows.
the msn convo was 2 men acting like schoolboys, we have all done that, many times in jest we have all got carried away and the convo got a bit gross.

kev was in no way involved in the making of the video so his only crime is a few crude comments about it. big deal!

Inaction on his part, as a mod on blonde who has a responsibility to other members, is a crime imo. But this is only my opinion of course. Had the video been of your wife Charlotte would you have the same opinion?

Maybe not legally, but morally, especially when you know one of the people involved, there is no comparison.

Maybe not legally, but morally, especially when you know one of the people involved, there is no comparison.

Also legally this law is pretty irrelevant - it might technically be applicable but the spirit of it is to protect against fraud and damage with viruses and the like.

It sounds like you are condoning that if a person (female/male) intends to have sex with another person (male/female), then falls asleep drunk, is it morally ok that the person still awake should be allowed to relieve their sexual desires anyways, and also video it, and also pass it around friends?

i dont think i said here anywhere that i thought the taking of the video or distributing it was right did i? so please dont put words in my mouth.

I did also mean to say that the way I read it is, the mod removal is relative to taking Brendan's money, not for the chat logs.
