Surely Jane should resign as mod now? it would go some way to blonde not being so badly tarnished imo. people are already questioning if their PMs can be accessed by mods(which you have told us they cant which is good).

As I explained, at some length today, to someone else, (via PM) when placed in the position we were, it was a little tricky to handle, & do the right thing. And maybe we - or more correctly, I - did not.

It's easy to stand where you are & say that Geo, but try standing here, handling this mess whilst at the same time holding down a full-time job & trying to live your own life. Mistakes do happen, & maybe I made a few. I don't actually know yet, I'm dizzy with everything flying around.

More details have emerged this afternoon that I was unaware of, to be honest, (on the thread) & the whole thing is dynamic, so maybe there will be further chapters in the story, as it seems to be getting wider by the moment.

Restrict your "run by fuckwits" comments to Tighty & myself, though, the other Mods were not in the loop.

While you're here it would be good if you could actually address some of the important points on the thread.

Getting back to the OP      ......      with what has emerged - what else were Tikay, Richard, and Dumpsey supposed to do?

They are the Directors/shareholders of a Limited Company - and money had gone astray.

All of them had a 'duty of care' to ensure that their 'customers' funds were intact/available - and certainly not impinged upon by a member of their own staff.

(Even taking into account Kev's problems) They were obliged to act - and did so!

Fair play to all three of them for speedily sorting it out, and getting the outstanding amount sent to the bereaved family.

Maybe if some of the critics had ever run a company before (or even had a phuqqin proper job), you might just start to appreciate the legal ramifications    ....     let alone the damage to the company image/integrity caused by the events.

the overriding impression i got when i had a beer with kev and tighty one night was Wow these guys really really really love blonde. this is all very sad, but at the end of the day nobody is perfect. nobody. i hope that tikay doesn't just think fuck it and pull the plug on this forum. i also hope that maybe one day kev will be allowed (and want to) come back on.

be tez if we all had to post on other forums although it sounds like at least one of us would fit in well at Punters lounge

The finasl sentence whooshed me, but it's a great Post, & as with all blonde threads, I think it signals "the move in the market".

You could not make this up, (though I can prove it), but exactly 3 minutes before you Posted that, a long-standing blonde, & a friend, Texted me, along the lines of "why don't you just pull the plug on the forum & be done with it?".

Not a bad question really. Especially as I looked at my Bank Statement today, (to see if Tom Hartnett had cashed the cheque I sent him), showing that once again, this week, I've paid the monthly Forum Host costs of £234, enabling the Forum to remain "live", & so I can be told I'm a "fuckwit". I think I probably am.

Shame it's all come to this really. In retrospect I am sure this thread would have been done in a different manner, either keeping it private or letting Kev go with some dignity.

Tarnishing Kev with other things that are irrelevant (and last months news) to this forum only shows up the snakes and rats that like to kick someone when they are at rock bottom.

While his actions were misguided and not pleasant, overtime you can understand and forgive Kev, no one will be hurting more than him.

Inthebelly sure is a loyal cookie to his friends and that's exactly what Kev needs right now.
