Read the OP mate. It says it all. Every time you get Cos and Mantis in on a thread it descends in to a load of bollocks just like this has.

I gave them a platform on the PHA board and it's become the most posted on thread ever. Just shows that they are less bothered about analysing hands than continuing this ridiculous, long running and childish battle.

Also I don't think anyone needs to worry about Mantis. I've only met him once but I thought he was a nice bloke and clearly of a suitable mental state to ignore the rants of anybody on here.

I don't think he would see any comment on here as a character assassination because what you see on here isn't his true character anyway.

Ahh ok, prob a better way to go about it, especially from the results of the thread was to ding us both a pm.

Having contributed to this forum for about 3 years what exactly are my crimes in that time? The facts are I’ve never asked for staking, I’ve never stolen anyone’s money, I’ve never loaned money, I’ve never hurt anybody, I’ve never cheated anybody, and I’ve never wished ill will on a soul. Frilly language? Long paragraphs? WTF? People need to grow up. So I agreed to come and play a challenge and put to bed whether I can play or not. I reckon if somebody sits in front of you all night playing cards you should be able to form an opinion about what their ability is like. Can't you guys do that? It has to be 20k hands mixed games until you can make a decision? The problem now is that people who don’t like my poker strategy are thinking it’s ok to slate my integrity and my general character. Example, I said 2 posts instead of 4 and that makes me an outright liar, when the point I made is concrete solid. Do I expect someone to count them all? If they want to call me an "outright liar" then yeah I do. My character, my integrity and my ethics are snowy white. And I think people on here are bang out of order to question them. What poker player doesn't have a bit of arrogance and a bit of confidence? Anyway I will prob take a break from PHA as pure nastiness for the sake of it is not something I enjoy.

James, just so we are clear, I stand by my post as well. Away from the bubble of the PHA board if you ever came up to me in the real world with that rude and aggressive attitude I would knock you clean out. You think it’s ok to take that tone because you don’t like somebody’s poker strategy? I think you’re a keyboard warrior who’s getting carried away. I don’t care that you’re “known” or whatever, if you think you can bowl around like that you’re mistaken. You can apologise for calling me an outright liar if you wish. In all honesty I really don’t give a fuck about poker strategy in comparison to real life integrity and class.

I think there is misinterpretation on the mantis stuff from some of the bystanders

the word hate is used alot, but i dont think that is the case.

I have met Mantis/Mark in real life, and we spoke for maybe 20 mins before a poker game which i bust early. He is a nice guy, affable and the kind of person I would gladly chat to in a poker room, as there are many of folk up and down the land.

However, his blonde alter-ego, Mantis, just follows the same path which gets under people skin. There is nothing wrong with "playing devils advocate", answering questions with a question, deflecting, .................... and all those other debating skills. HOWEVER when that is ALL you do, in response to EVERY post, it becomes tedious. People start to lose respect for your opinion because that is all you do.

So I would urge Mantis to sometime come along with your opinion, sometimes start threads, SOMETIMES play devils advocate, and sometimes agree with Cos! Im pretty sure that if this happened, all this "hating" would cease. But the reality is, always being provocative is neither appealing nor clever. A skilled debater, you must give the man credit, but a good poster on PHA? Well when I see some of his contributary posts on strategy - i will reconsider my current negative opinion.

Mantis - I can understand you taking issue with those of us who have never met you but do you not think for a minute when you see a post like Outragous's above that some of us might have a point? He's basically said you're a nice, likeable guy in real life, but you're not that same guy when you post, which is a shame.

Again, you've highlighted the less important things in your post like '2 cash hands / 4 cash hands / who cares cash hands' and failed to address the real issue of why certain members of the forum hound your PHA posts.

Also, your posts threatening violence are ridiculous and embarrassing under the circumstances. You feel empathy to me for being grimmed; I feel it towards you for threatening to punch James Keys.

I couldn't care less about the challenge now and for the sake of the forum I won't comment on you in PHA hand threads any further.

I'm a purely recreational player who likes to venture onto PHA to hopefully help improve my game.
As a mainly live player I do feel that my game has improved just by reading this thread.
Some of the advice is good some of it's bad, but you know what, that is purely my opinion and actually learn from both.

I don't know Cos but I have spoken to Mark on a few occasions and found him to be a good decent chap who doesn't really deserve the slating he receives on here.

I've got an idea-
Cos, Mantis why don't you both take a pic of your c0cks send them to Claw and let her decide who's the biggest and then put this girly bickering to bed.

A lot of the criticism on this board is down to the tone and content of my posts. The content is pretty much always about hands of poker, and the tone is tongue-in-cheek banter rather than outright rudeness. Members of the Red Hand Gang take everything too literally and personally, but my intentions are never to make a mug out of anyone. Yeah, I take an anti-clique stance on here but it's all pretty light-hearted. Greekstein, although we've had some banter I know where to draw the line and respect you like I do everyone. I didn't rub you on the Blatch thread and I didn't rub you on the RiverDave thread. If you opened your eyes it would tell you want sort of guy I am.

I'm not the sort of guy to walk up to someone in a casino and punch them either. I haven't punched anybody since school. But I don't like bullying and have always stood up to cowards who think they can bully people when they've got safety in numers. James, in a couple of months I will have more time to play and will be getting up to dtd. I will happily look anybody in the eye and repeat the content and tone of any post I've made to their face. Then I'll tap you on the shoulder and politely ask you to come outside to stand by yours. I am pretty sure you will want to make excuses and avoid that confrontation. When I was asked to stand by my poker posts I didn't avoid that confrontation. And in that we have the difference between me and you as men. Like I said, whether you should raise with Jacks or not is pretty insignificant compared to the substance of one's character. You don't want to apologise, so I will post the result on this thread of how you stood by the tone and content of your post when the challenge is complete...
