Lol. Sat next to the dealer is my mate Simon Higgins who came over to Vegas for my wedding. That's his first live comp having only been playing a few months. Doyles room gave him his buy in back for wearing their patch and hat. He took a third of Allen Cunninghams stack, folded kings per flop which was good and bluffed Lex back. It never got any tv time tho and the whole episode of day1 a 2009 was about Lex and his 13 (or so bluffs). Excellent self promotion by him and he obv spunked em off but the $10k was a good investment in marketing himself.

It's estimated that Simon has played $200k worth of buy ins in 3 years (some he satted into or companies put him in) and was a big chip leader with 13 left in the ept grand final last year and got " unlucky ". He came down to Dtd on Friday but as Rob was not there ended up in the £50 turbo and min cashed, no flag I am afraid

Feeling really good about myself. When in downswings it can feel like such a kick on the balls and usually the last thing you want todo is play poker.

Although I'm running 5figires user ev I'm continuing to grind every day. I've missed 2days this month and one of them was when my account closed.

Determined to get through the Other side and in the meantime the games are good and I'm enjoing them.

Keep peeled for something quite big tomorrow.. Real shame it's going to happen but te guy in question has no other choice. Friends with both and has put me on an awkward situation bu I guess let's just see tomorrow.
