GPS ReportTourney cliffs - Table absolutely amazing, im opening 90% of hands which is usually absolutely terrible live but was great here. Guy 6bet jammed A6o vs me though and found a chop vs Kings, wte lol. Anyway ended up busting in a great spot with overpair vs top pair.
The night before there was a very good cash game so after going back to the hotel for an hour, found the urge to play some live pokers.
The game was full but looked amazing. I sat on the 1/1 200£ cap game waiting for a seat, eventually a fish busted and i got a seat.
Seat 1: me, 1.5k
Seat 2: nitty fish, 800
Seat 3: huge fish from my tournament table, ended up spinning 200 into 4000, such jokes lol
Seat 4: Huge whale from Birmingham, was actually probably decent but he wanted to play 25/50 and nobody else did so he just played everyhand and cold called every 3 and 4bet all night lol
Seat 5: Scottish regfish who had 1000
Seat 6: Scarer, this guy who was described to me as the best MTT player in Scotland. He was drinking heavily, talkiing a lot of shit and playing v v v aggressively. 3-4kish
Seat 7: DeanoSupremo, most know who he is, 3bet around about 45% of the time, pretty ridic. 1000 x a few reloads!
Seat 8: Different people, mostly fish
Thomas Partridge was somewhere in the middle of everybody with a bunch of 1k placks lol
So the game was very very good, because of the nature of the game i decided to play tight. Generally i would be opening very very wide and playing lots of pots, but scarer and deano were 3betting almost every hand and the birmingham guy wanted to play a lot of pots, he also hated Deano and was trying to play every pot vs him to stack him.
I was card dead all night really, I didnt really win any hands with sets, straights or flushes, I had a tight image and i was opening to alot larger sizings than anybody else.
Only real pot I remember is.
1/3/6, deano limps utg, another guy limps, i raise KQ to 30, get a few calls lol. I cbet 85 on at4xcc and deano c/raises to 210. I call and he check folds tx turn.
The birmingham guy wanted to play PLO very badly, so the degens from the other table decided to come over and the nits moved over to the feeder table. So we had a super action table playing round of each which meant i just couldnt leave as the hourly in the holdem was so huge. Richard Kellet was now to my right and is supposedly very good in PLO.
Very first hand of PLO we get a 1/3/6/12/24/48 blinds. 4 limps and im on the button with
, folding seemed really nitty but i didnt rwally want to play so deep in PLO. The straddler potted and they all got a lot of money in anyway.
I was very obviously the main weak point in the PLO games, i didnt know exactly what to do and spent some time on decisions. A lot of the time i picked up on little read things but i was probably not +ev in the game.
We had a 1/3/6/12 and Deano Limped, I limped behind
the birmingham guy potted the button, scarer overcalled, deano called and i called hoping for spades.
We all checked to the Birmingham guy who bet half pot or something, scarer called and i decided to pot. Think i look super nutted, i have a blocker to 33 and they should fold a bare 2. If they call then I still have some equity with my flush draw.
They ended up folding, but have no idea how good or bad this is.
An indian guy then sits down with 10k, asking if anybody wants to play 25/50 lol, everybody is being very very degen and im told this is standard here lol. We end up talking about open face and he invites me to play HU. Im pretty tired and the PLO avrage pot size is 1k so I decide to unwine.
We play for 5 pounds a point then double the stakes and then play for 20 pounds a point, really high and definitely the highest ive ever played or would play. Im up a little bit and then a chinese guy wanders over and asks if he can play, but he doesnt know the rules, we explain and play 3 handed.

So we play for some more time and I make a really bad dealer mistake where the chiense guy is set to mis set and the indian guy has a very bad holding. I have a full house at the back and a straight in the middle.
We count the cards and it seems ive given the chinese guy 1 too many cards and we decide to make all the cards even, shuffle and give us all cards as normal. i pull out the 1 outer in the deck to bust me and that was incredibly tilting. Probably a £700 dealing error or something, sigh. I was pretty tilted so just decided to call it a night and go home as had a early start the next day with GPS.
