So, another marathon event ends

At 8pm tonight the final was six handed and here we are after 2am and we've just finished. What a cracking testament to the structure of this event.

Marc Foggin is a worthy winner and has impressed everyone who played with him and watched him this weekend

All that remains is for me to say goodnight on behalf on myself and Sharplea. Thank you for reading and posting.

Goodnight!

Rex has just popped over;

"I'm chip leader in the £50, 5 left"

Get it won, Rex!

Bokked myself it seems. First hand after the break, pick up AA, which prove worthless next to AJ when he rivers a straight. GG 40% of my chips. Player who did this then passes all my chips to his left next hand when he loses to KK. Deal is discussed, I tilt turn it down, and I'm out next with 55 < Q10. So 4th for me. Such is life.

Foggin is a good player

Yeah, Marc has taken his game extremely serious yet has played relatively few games live. He's a great reader, he's had numerous decent cashes on Stars in huge fields. More recently, he just missed the cash at his first EPT in Barcelona. He will do well and I hope he takes this down. Apart from all of the above he's a great pal and a top top guy. Come on Foggsy

He didn't read the game very well when he called my all in with bottom pair after the flop - I had top pair. He left himself priced in to call after leaving himself with no fold equity from his reraise and got lucky on the river. It's only one hand but was quite significant. Maybe it was a loss of concentration but he played the hand badly.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
