I played poker with you for the first time in a while last night. I have to say, you've changed your game a fair bit.
I always thought you were complete spew but it looks like yr well on the road to becoming phantastic.
I had thoughtyou would cock a deaf 'un to the advice about you becoming a serious player but i have to say yr new gruff exterior with a voluminous scarf could only be improved on with the addition of shades probably.

The three people in the middle are oblivious to they guy on the left. The guy taking the picture is a MP from the Phillipines. He is about to be shot dead!

No poker for me tonight i think. And i have decided to give DTD a miss at the weekend too. I used to enjoy the buzz of going up there, knowing that there were gonna be lots of blondes to catch up with, the updates made it a little bit different to the other comps i play. But now it's just another comp. I think DTD have made a bit of a mistake in stopping them. I'm not alone in my thoughts judging by the people I have spoken to about it.
I wonder who will suffer more from the lack of updates?
Tomorrow I'm gonna try and get over to Equal Chance for a charity tournament. Not a great lover of them but it's for a good cause. A young kid that has Cerebral Palsy that can't get funding for his treatment on the NHS.
Michaela Tabb & Jan Verhaas are gonna be the bounties, and there will be a raffle and some other stuff too. Should be a good night.

Which reminds me, I had a couple of hours to spare the other day and dropped into Rookie & Turny's snooker club on the way to Luton. I picked up a cue for the first time in 3 or 4 years and despite getting smashed by Rosy & Danny I really enjoyed it. I'm gonna try and play more snooker this year.
