Friday night was spent in a pub. Pubs bore me, especially when I'm not drinking. Felt obliged to go as it was a leaving do for one of the girls I work with. It meant blowing out Eso Kral, but I will make it up to him. He loves me, and has forgiven me, so all is good.
He is currently doing well in the HFH's comp at DTD. Good luck him.

Spent Saturday with the Sicilidonk, played a couple of small stars comps, sure went well. Sicilidonk destroyed the $$ he had on there, so wasn't a total waste of time
Decided to make a last minute trip to Stanleys, to play the comp I said I never wanted to play again, 5 levels later, that feeling was re-inforced. I hate it, and won't be back...
Won my buy in back playing Omahahaha. Didn't even know I could play Omahaha, musta just got lucky.

Today was the monthly £150, £8k gtd at the G.
20,000 chips, 2 x 45 min levels, then 30 mins for the rest.
Got off to a good start, up to 27k in the first couple of orbits, the table was good, everyone was in a check if you miss, bet if you hit mode, which made it nice & easy. Then Bigo Bill arrived.
He done 13k within 30 mins, then jammed on my utg raise for 6.8k at 100-200. My AK was no match for his AQ.
Dropped down to 15k before getting it back up to 27k, decided to get clever with AA BVB, that didn't really work out too well. I've put the hand on PHA, not sure I shoulda played it how I did, but I suppose that's easy now. Will be interesting to see if anyone says fold... Got back upto 12k, and got AA utg. I made it 1875 @ 400-800-50, leaving exactly 10k back. The cut off isolated to 14k
and I made the brave call. 2 mins later I was on my way to the car park.
It's all good though, this bad run I have been on is a sign. If ever there is a time for my luck to change for the better, then it's now, Doubt I will be playing much more, if any pre Vegas. So all the run bad is out the way now hopefully. Gonna win a Venetian deepstack or two!

Bank Holiday tomorrow, have decided that it's 'start clearing the flat out' day
Something that I have been putting off for a long time. Got a lot of junk to go out, dare say the place could do with a bit of a tidy up, To me it's tidy, to anyone else, it would probably be condemned, I dont know. Either way, I'm gonna crack on and get it started tomorrow.
Also have the unenviable task of clearing out Holly's room, I've delayed & delayed, I don't know what to do with it. Keeping it isn't an option, binning it seems wrong, charity is an option, probably the most viable, but that means forcing myself to sort it out, and giving it away, something I'm not entirely convinced I want to do. She has more stuff here than I have, sticking it in a cupboard isn't really an option either. Suppose I'll wake up one day and it will come to me.
I've done a draw, for which rooms I do, and in which order...
Kitchen, Lounge, Bathroom, Bedroom 1, Hallway. In that order. What an incred life I have.

Scotty77 just pinged me on fb to say he won a vegas package on Sky.
Well done him. I remember him saying back in January or Feb, that he was gonna win one.
Not sure if i have this entirely right, but I think he smashed most of his bankroll, took a break, rebuilt, and now seems to be doing well again.
Nice guy, nice result.

Sigh at 5th....blinds were massive and ft started at 3k 6k.... played well all night..... was push fold for 2 level as i grinded like a mofo up the ladder..... finally got slow rolled by the bb when i shove A 5 with 10 bb... he gave some long speech about keep shoving on his blind and then says.. you know what im going to call..then wouldnt turn over his hand for another 30 seconds after i revealed mine until the dealer implored him to.... he showed 8 8...if ever an Ace deserved to roll off it was then..but no...classy mate
