Ran a hand twice v Mitch, and both times his K high was good. Have heard others say about his run good, now I have witnessed it.

Tell us how [  ] well you played that hand which meant Mitch [  ] had to run good to win the pot

To be honest, that was one of the better hands I played at the weekend.Sad

Sorry, was talking about general Mitch run good, not specifically that hand. Can see how you got confused.

Correct. Although you need the caveat that you're talking about all the grains of sand on earth. There are potentially billions of planets in the universe that could also have sand, and this could affect the validity of your statement.

Fact verification required !!!

As a result of Geofrey Mutai running the fastest Marathon ever in Boston this week, they were banging on the radio this a.m that Humans are the most evolved creature on earth at running the marathon distance, so . . . .

No animal on earth can run the 26 miles of a marathon quicker then man?

out of the same conversation came the statement

Usian Bolt is not as quick over 100 metres as a squirrel !

Are these two statements really FACT?

The American Antelope can apparently maintain 35mph for 4 hours.

I guess if you tied the squirrel to the antelope then he'd also beat Bolt.

Fact verification required !!!

As a result of Geofrey Mutai running the fastest Marathon ever in Boston this week, they were banging on the radio this a.m that Humans are the most evolved creature on earth at running the marathon distance, so . . . .

Humans are amongst the most evolved animals for running distances exceeding the 26.2 miles of the marathon.  The 'persistence hunting' that some talk about (and the way man evolved to hunt otherwise) requires great distances to be run over long periods (50 miles+), something that other animals struggle to do.  Horses are obviously faster than humans over shorter distances, but when you look at endurance events (ultra-marathon distances) then humans will win every time (the right humans of course).

Wonder what the odds were on the two Mutais to win London and then Boston?

See above.  I think they should be referring to distances greater than the marathon.

If a squirrel can outrun Bolt over 100m that's just nuts!

I remember when this diary was fun and interesting.

When was that?

just another made up fact on this thread obv

A banana is not a fruit..

sigh. the bit that we eat is a fruit, the plant is a herb or summat like that

also calling bullshit on the squirrel beating usain bolt, doubt it's even close

landrover thing is their own propaganda imo, most of them are like brooms with 5 new heads and 3 new handles

think kin's covered everything else

this has been a public service announcement on behalf of the bullshit police
