Met Trigg at St Pancras, and we waited 20 minutes for Cos, who was '2 minutes away' He is always 2 minutes away, just never 2 minutes away from where he is supposed to be!

Joined up with Sunny, another workshy individual, that can't make it somewhere on time, despite getting his 400th cab of the year.

Went to a pub across the road from Kings Cross and had a couple of drinks, while we waited for Dubai & Cos' mate Andy.

Once everyone had turned up, we headed for the tube to Wembley, where Trigg managed to do some money to Dubai, betting on which of the passengers were gonna get off at Wembley Park, to go to the darts, and which weren't.

Got into Wembley Arena and Trigg spotted a girl who claims to be a model, she was selling cigarettes, obviously in between modelling assignments in the Caribbean Wink

Drinks and hot dogs bought, we headed to our seats, Dubai made up some drinking game, can't even remember the rules, but it seemed like fun, and if I ever go back, I may leave the car at home and take part.

Was surprised to see how many women go to the darts, hundreds of them, many in groups, and they were really into. The atmosphere inside was excellent. Enjoyed the darts a lot, other than the 3rd/4th place play off, may seemed to be uninterested in it, and seemed to cause a lull in the atmosphere.

Was a great night, the group of people I was with, were great company, and some really funny moments, which included;

Cos: Let's go to Sugar Hut in Brentwood

Dubai: It's prob shit on a Thursday, some nights, If the right people are in there, then it's a great night, tonight is Thursday, It will be full of people like you Cos Wink

Followed by, Cos & Sunny had a bet on the final, Sunny says: If it looks like I'm gonna lose the bet, I'm just gonna stand up and shout BOMB! If you know what Sunny looks like, that could be so effective.

And, a group of Anderson fans appear on the big screen, waving Scotland flags.

Dubai: Scottish *****, looks at me, then realises, Oh, sorry Vinny Smiley

So we get outside, and Cos' mate is talking about running through the water feature, for £300, no one thinks it's worth it, but it's worth doing on CC roulette.

I haven't got a CC, no prob though, plenty of people offering me their spare one. Sigh, I just know what's gonna happen here.
Dubai gives me a silver one, which happens to be the same colour as the card Cos has thrown in, last one picked, has to run through, gtd to get absolutely soaked, whatever way you run through it.

First out is Trigg, he has ran good this week obv, then Sunny, next out is me, and I'm relieved, Cos' mate is 4th out, and I'm laughing at Cos & Dubai, because one of them is about to get soaked, then Cos realises, it isn't his card still in there, it's mine! FFS. I'm heads up with Dubai, and trying to wriggle out of it, saying the numbers are all wrong, should be a redraw, I can't swim, anything that might help. None of it did, I was forced to go Heads up with him, was never ever ever gonna win that, Dave prob had his card in his pocket anyway Wink I lost, and had to forfeit, I waited til some of the sprinklers had gone to low mode, it didn't make any difference, I got through about 4 or 5 that were on full mode, then hit a bit of luck. Hit, being the key word, someone else coming the other way slammed straight into me, and sent me veering off to the right, sort of done me a favour, but I was soaked by then, so not much of one.

I managed to give Greeky a bear hug when I got back to them, it made me feel a bit better, but not much.

We walked to a nearby hotel and had a drink whilst we waited for our cab. Got a taxi back to Edgeware Road, but I was too wet to stay, and squelched off towards Marble Arch, had to stand all the way back to Arnos Grove.

Despite the water feature incident, it was a great night, in fact, if I'm honest, the water incident probably added to it.

Thanks for sorting it out Cos, and thanks to the others.

i once surveyed a warehouse housing 50,000 sqft of sweets and confectionary to supply BP forecourts nationwide

I used to be an accountant for the Playboy Club.  One of my jobs was a monthly stocktake. This included a monthly count of bunny tails and bunny costumes in the bunny room. Funnily enough, we always timed this task to coincide with the bunnies clocking on (and changing) time.

Still in agony from my collision with the bin laden lookalike. Which is good, at least now I know it's not a heart attack.

Played the £100er on friday, and just couldn't get going, did run JJ into KK on a 9 high board, eventually shoving 10 bigs with AJdd from the BB in an unraised pot, and getting called by a limper who had set the trap with KQ Wink

Slept 15 hours on Saturday night / Sunday morning. Feel better for it, I'm gonna go and win the £50er at Luton later.

Congrats to us for winning the Scottish Cup.

No need to celebrate madly really, but nice for Lennon that he has something to show for what has been a fairly shitty season for him.

This is not the end, it's the beginning...
