Sounds to me like your 72 year old dad has found love again.. Unlucky you don't like her, but your Dad is enjoying his life again after losing your Mum, and if that gives him an extra spring in his step and stops him festering away, then surely that has to be good thing?
Your Dad and this old lady were in love all those years ago, yet did the right thing meaning you had many many good years with your Mum and Dad. Through life circumstances have both lost their partners and found happiness with each other. It probably feels like your Mum's memory is being disrespected but in all fairness we can't help who we fall in love with.
I'm sure that your Dad deserves to be happy in his autumnal years and good on him.
Try getting to know this lady.. arrange for everyone to meet up for Sunday lunch, invite your Sister, the grand-kids, etc.. This lady is never ever going to replace your Mum, nor should she, but that doesn't mean she cant follow her heart and make your Dad happy!!
Make up.. you know it makes sense
xx

Vinny if your Dad has been sick but because of this relationship he's discovered a new athleticism I would high five that woman. You can't expect him to embrace lonliness at his time of life and seeking a bit of happiness or excitement isn't a crime. I don't think loyalty to the memory of your mum needs to conflict with wanting happiness for your Dad as they can both exist side by side. Anyway, it's your Dad so your best mate and if he wants a lift somewhere give a lift somewhere. No need for this disowning shit really.

Have you filmed your Big Brother audition video yet? If you upload it now you could get fast-tracked to the live auditions next month.

He is fine, & in good heart, I was with him last night.
He has had a semi-bad run at the Tables, & does not want to Post & make it look like he is moaning, or complaining, so he has stayed schtum for a while. He is not down about it, not at all, but equally, he does not want to disappoint his backers.
He said he hopes to get this Diary re-started today.

That is great to hear. Not the running bad parts, but the high spirits and return to blogging.
