With all due respect you're hardly likely to say they're going to do shoddy work and add on extras.

With no respect at all I am pretty sure they don't do any extra, they just make triple what anyone else makes on the job. However this does allow them to employ a man with an umbrella to bring you out from outside.

Yes, but what's wrong with being met by a courteous person who greets you by name and the escorts you to the service desk?

I know it's pointless but I like being treated a little bit better.

You are right customer service is everything. Yes you do pay a premium.
But as a customer you want right first time. BMW Service Staff. 20% of there wages is made up
of what the customer thinks regarding there experience and getting it right first time.

I was lucky enough to stay at Corinthia London for the weekend. on the 30th Nov.
Yes a bed for a couple of nights but the service was amazing. Worth every penny.

If I ever can afford to go there again I would. It was the best customer service I have EVER had.

Could have paid 20 times less but it was worth it.

Regards

M

I've been fortunate enough to have had a wide range of customer service experiences in a variety of different types.

Customer experience can't be focused on enough for my liking.  Virgin have it absolutely right in that they are willing to charge the extra $$ but they give the best experience they can - even taking care of their own staff well enough that they then enjoy their own job and the customers experience is enhanced even more.

It's really about the customer experience, not the 'service'. I can't enjoy the experience of getting great 'service' from a BMW franchised dealer because they ream me for it.

Merry Christmas, Alex.

I hope 2013 somehow manages to top 2012.

Yes Merry Christmas Alex. Really enjoy your diary and good luck and lots of run goods in 2013. Please don't forget to post whenever you win a hand against Mitch. Always makes me feel good.
