In fairness to these guys i find it absurd that they are being accused of colluding/cheating. As a CRM who has had these guys round a table on many occasions its been plain to see that although they obviously take great pleasure in winning, they have been known in the past to take even greater pleasure in stacking each other, and laughing heartily as the stacked player does his brains on house games. I guess they could be colluding with the house tho........

does anybody think there is length for a UK poker staking fund?
I've thought about it a lot recently, just haven't had time to think about the exact mechanics of it.
Its similar to the Max Katz fund but on a lot smaller level.
Say the fund total would be £150,000, to get into the fund you have to pay 2:1. so 1% would be £3000
If the fund at the end of year 1 is £250,000 then they get £1000 back, which is their 1% and remain with their initial stake too.
There would be no maximum stake, you can never "drop out" but you can always sell your stake.
The stake would be for buying pieces of talented UK players in live tournaments, some long term smaller stakes agreements, some long term online agreements and then also some online tournaments "pieces" no long term tournament deals.
There would be coaching involved, organised and coordinated by the head of the fund.
The 2:1 on the 1% was just a random figured pulled to my head, so don't critique that part. But thoughts please?
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/174/poker-goals-challenges/staking-getting-healthy-2012-a-1156001/index55.htmlThis guy is half of one of the biggest staking teams, you might have heard of him before. Around 45 horses including 9 of the best in the world. Hasn't had a day completely free from staking in the last three years. Anyone taking on the challenge of running a staking business like this must be so committed and the only reason for that is $ gain, which would be very difficult in your fund idea. Sure Al can tell you just how complicated a stable can get never mind a huge fund. New thread?

How do you create a hotspot from an iPhone so you can use its Internet on a laptop? Can't see it in settings anywhere.
Sat in a train station, going home for Christmas and some R&R and TLC from mum and dad!

PJ - you obviously weren't cheating in the instance Killerkillsby gave, i don't think he has an issue with you I think he is just a bit misguided as to what cheating colluding actually is.
No offence to anyone as you're all my friends but we all need to grow up a bit over this subject.
Most of us have seen cases of actual cheating in poker games and i tell you now 80%-90% of "cheating" goes un punished for tactical reasons.
