Sigh...

Another great diary falls victim.

Another?.......

Remind me what other GREAT Diaries went the same way.

Oh your diary was great once, back in the days when I used to contribute a lot.

chuckled

If you intend to go ahead with this, I strongly advise you set some time aside & try & work through all the strategy stuff by Camel, redarmi, bobby1, BadBeat (Neil Channing), Doobsy, & several others. (Apologies to those I have not included). There is stacks of it, & it will take a while, but no pain no gain & all that.

Dubai sounds like a nutcase most of the time, but he really does understand punting fundamentals to a degree few can emuulate.

Its a bit like poker. If you want to do well, you'll have to put a lot of work in. You just will.
i like the anonymity of having user names on here so the shrewdy betting guys can keep the book makers guessing. I like how you outted Neil Channing tho. That guys a wrong un. Smiley

Ye, Tikay blew that one wide open, someone signs up to a gambling forum under the name Bad Beat and shows a lot of knowledge about horse racing...I guess Priot has had a wasted journey Tongue

Yeah, definitely looking less and less shite these days.  That might all change over the next two games though!

Maybe repeatedly punting RVP to score first goal was reason for Ladbrokes closing my account? That or name association with young pro punter who is always 'looking for value' but never backs RVP to score first goal ?

Would you kindly either edit that or confirm that the image currently befouling my mind is the one you intended to put there?

although i've seen more flesh of these fine gentlemen than I'd like, I can confirm it's not in that way.

I thought they'd be the likely suspects for a tap-in involving my lady friend from Estonia.

the majority of people in poker would know who BadBeat is. We would have been easier than calling in Inspector Lewis too. At least we could have found him in the phone book Smiley

So the car fiasco continues. All the shit the garage did to it has now upset the computer system so it's gone to a bmw specialist, who've told me it needs the CAS replacing blah blah blah another week without the car, another £400+.

The whole thing has left me totally put off owning a car like this. I did 10k miles last year, it's just not worth all the money. It's so fast and powerful too and I'm a pretty reckless driver tbh so don't really trust myself not to do something similar or worse to it again! So I'm probably gonna sell it and get something bowlier just for DTD runs and airport journeys.

You only lose money with a car, so unless you're going to enjoy driving and owning it you're probably best to get something a bit cheaper to run and own.  Plenty of options for reliable cars that will cost a lot less to run.
