Don't waste any of the new signup free bet offers either.
Basically they let you have a bet if it loses free bet matched to the stake. However, free bet doesn't return stake, but its a nice excuse to have £50 on a larger odds gamble than normal.
You can use websites like Quidco for a cashback deal tho and this covered the balance.
Basic promo abuse protocol is...
£50 on something at Evs, lay £50 of same team at 2.04 on Betfair. So you're down a couple of quid whatever happens.
£50 free bet (winnings only, stake not returned) on something at c5/1, anything at all, just something where the lay price on Betfair is 'tight' to said price and there is liquidity. Lay £41 of said selection at 6.2 --> This guarantees you c£40
Meaning opening the account has been worth £40-£2....

Also, just lay Liverpool.
/thread
You had better explain to Alex what a
lay
is. A betting lay, I mean.
Sorry. Thanks, all.
Alex, you can explain to me how to rangemerge a blocker-bet for value in 50nl hand histories.
(Please don't!)
only John Black could do that

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Sign up to quidco. Then sign up to paddy power through the quidco website. Then bet £10 on the sports book. Quidco will give you £20 cash back.
New customers only etc etc.

You should ask Matt Russell about working though his Bonus on, I think, Bet365. Story in itself.
One of my favourite threads ever.

There is not a link as such Alex, as it ran for weeks & weeks on TfT I seem to recall.
He had £600 or something, & they would not allow him to withdraw it, they said he had to "bet it through". He tried, but they kept restricting him to £2.50 or whatever, & he could not ever reach the money.
Think he lost the lot in the end, which was the expected outcome anyway, he's a bit of an ice-cream.

It was well before TfT. There should be a thread somewhere...

If you intend to go ahead with this, I strongly advise you set some time aside & try & work through all the strategy stuff by Camel, redarmi, bobby1, BadBeat (Neil Channing), Doobsy, & several others. (Apologies to those I have not included). There is stacks of it, & it will take a while, but no pain no gain & all that.
Dubai sounds like a nutcase most of the time, but he really does understand punting fundamentals to a degree few can emuulate.
Its a bit like poker. If you want to do well, you'll have to put a lot of work in. You just will.
i like the anonymity of having user names on here so the shrewdy betting guys can keep the book makers guessing. I like how you outted Neil Channing tho. That guys a wrong un.
