On way to Deauville ouiiii
One last hurrah for the goulden era? Or the bink that saves the empire? Keep tuned in to find out!
Good luck fella!! If you won a million would you try and snap pj back up in the summer transfer market or would you be worried that k&k might bump his price up a little!!

Spotted this post 'next door', from radio and tv presenter, Sarah Champion.
'I saw this on Alex Goulder’s facebook page and the caption did make me smile ‘dusk til pawn’ You may remember Alex as the SPT winner in Nottingham, he’s in Deauville now at the EPT and reckons no one will top that caption...'
Not a bad way of getting a bit of PR!

Basically, Alex is being bigged up by a semi-well known, attractive lady.

Thanks, smashedagain. That was the missing piece of info: the photo of a chess game.
Now it makes sense.
I don't do Facebook, so I rely on explanations

Yes, this photo appeared on
Chess Thread
, courtesy of Sir Tight of End. The position is from an opening called the Benoni (because I'm sure you asked), which Honeybadger employed against Kinboshi's playing of 1.d4.
Impromptu caption comp ahoy! (Approval of SkyPoker mascots an added bonus, I am sure)
"Kinboshi had not prepared for the Honeybadger Variation"
