Post Vegas ShenanigansBarely had a minute to rest and relax since coming back from Vegas. The weather being incred has made it much easier to get used to life in England - it's been pretty awesome.
So I spent a day & night with the family catching up doing standard things (Croquet, Tennis, Worms, Perudo, Steak), then headed to Stanford to watch Stato captain his local team in the cup final. PJ and I gambled on how many runs stato would get and when he'd get out etc and I took the overs (faith in the big man) and won all the little bets. Anything to make the cricket less tedious. The gambling did not stop there for the week...
After the huge Vegas night out, bowl amount of sleep, 10 hour flight, another bowl amount of sleep - I was falling asleep at the wheel on the way back to Nottingham. It was 11pm when I got in and I was ready to crash.
So I hopped in the shower and drove straight to Alea
Since then I've played every night, 10 hour sessions minimum, until 7am minimum, once till 9am and had the swingiest times ever. The games have been £0.50/1 all week and I've had £1k+ swings EVERY session! Some up some down, I was £1200 in the hole last night and got halfway out, tonight I won £1k, the games have been playing huge.
I've been playing OFC pre, post and during the games every day too. Putting in tons of volume with Fred "Fantasy Land" Wise. He'll read this so I can't say too much about how much of a whale he is. Anyway, I'm so addicted to this game, it's so much fun and makes playing long sessions so much easier, the time just passes so quickly and can still be really sociable and lively at the table.
Here's some photos of the week's degeneracy.

My only OFC heater, at the lowest stakes we've played all week...

A clip from Stato's cricket match
Lol, that was from our "Sports Day" on thursday. We did this last year - went to Keiths for a BBQ and went to West Bridgeford park to play games. We split our tennis balls so borrowed these kids' cricket ball, and then they joined in and we all had a big match, was pretty fun. Exactly this happened last year too - we ended up playing a big match with a bunch of 9 year olds!
Really nice occasion.
You can see just how small they are compared to Mitch

Highlight: Sick bluff by Mitch and me: Kid hits ball into hedge. Mitch finds it, hides it behind is back and says "can't find it". I tell the kids to "run again". BOOM. They've fallen for it, hook, line and sinker. Run out. Pwned.
Lowlight: Them being better than us.
Looking forward to grinding online tomorrow, first session for over a month. Win a major one time?
