Loving life in the new place. Definitely the nicest place I've lived in since leaving home. Getting into a routine now, something I've missed for such a long time. Victoria is working 10pm-6am shifts in the Empire, which she's really enjoying. So that is my playing time also, though rarely make it past 3am in truth. It's alright because that means we can spend the whole day (well, afternoon) together and have dinner together which is really nice.

I get up around midday and do odd jobs, there's a gym in the same building so getting fit again. Got some work to do before the big 5 aside tournament on Tuesday in Nottingham! I've got my piano installed in the bedroom so playing that a lot, and just booked onto a 10 week Russian course every thursday afternoon! I did an assessment yesterday she's put me into the "False Beginners" course, one step up from pure beginners.

So will be staying put in London for a fair amount of time, not doing much travelling at all. Until Vegas, which I've booked from 9 June.

Nottingham next week should be good, always have a great time there. The football is gonna be sick, 8 teams from all over the country coming, will be a great laugh.

Some photos of the new place now we've moved in:

Am so excited for tomorrow. And that's not even because it's the hiroller.

No, it's because tomorrow is the biggest 5 a-side football tournament the poker community has ever seen, and is ever likely to see again.

8 teams from all over the country are travelling to compete in this prestigious event.

We've got local superstars Simon Deadman and Mitch Johnson playing for DTD

We've got Mad Turk and his team of semipros including his son who plays for Turkey U19s!

We've got some over 65s Neil Giblin and Keith Johnson to show us that young spirit is no match for experience.

We've got some deadly fraternal partnerships being featured - Kev and Richie Allen, Jack and Jamie Elwood, Tim and Dan Chung and the aforementioned Keith and Mitch Johnson.

European superstar Matas Cimbolas teams up with fellow globetrotters Ludovic Jonsen, Oli Price, Jack Salter and Ben Dobson and Bill Chataway on team Europe.

Firaldo was a free agent, in demand by many, but seems to have been secured by Newcastle thanks to a Newcastle Brown Ale signing on bonus.

Ballers from the London live cash Danny Blair, Pratik Ghatge,  Iaron Lightbourne and Patryk Slusarek scene team up with the Allens to make a formidable lineup.

And last and very possibly least, the 66/1 outsiders, "The stragglers" made up of DTD dealers Sean Belton and Paul England, EPT Budapest winner Will Fry, 180man sng two time winner Tom Somerville, Danny "Pluto is a planet" Ball and GUKPT Luton champ Jamie "Boz" O'connor.

Who knows who will win, but it'll certainly be a great afternoon.

BT Sports and Sky currently locked in negotiations for the TV rights. Also The Food Channel are interested given the involvement of Mitch. Saga dropped out early despite rumour's of Neil Giblin and Kieth Johnson being involved. Should be epic.

Do you know, even though I've read their names 100s of times and seen them plenty I've never put two and two together and realised Keith and Mitch were brothers?

Unless you are pulling their chain of course.

If anyone is free and fancies coming down to do some updates, take some pics and vids - that would be really good. Think it'll be a great laugh and some record of it would be nice.

Ian, you around?!
