I've been terrible for it in the past, but creating conflict with fish is really bad for business

It's hard when you get steamed but people who don't understand the rules of ettiquete can't really be expected not to break them and it usually means they suck at poker so id rather have them rubbing me down and playing than arguing with me and leaving

Red mist though, hard to see through Wink

Current monthly net alex? if it's over $80 then you've severely out-performed me

£2458 with 2 sessions to go...u had a bad month then?

up $80 buddy dancing from the rooftops Smiley
good work, nice start to 2011 - looking forward to getting 4bet at 2/5 soon within a month or two :p

Lol at the guy that gets it in with that bag of shit and then wants to run it four times. Gtd if I get it in with that pile of dung its one board for the eyeballer

Very much this. Running it 4 times is just ridic and something people only do because they've seen it on HSP.

we were mates so I didn't really want to scoop

Just do an equity chop?

Hi Alex,

Enjoying it so far.

Think this might have been covered earlier but I cant remember, I know you were inspired by seeing the big names at the Empire in September.

Where do you see yourself in Poker in say, 1 year, 3 years 5 years?

1 year, about the same, hopefully a 2/5 reg at dtd though.

3 years, reg in all the VIP games @ DTD, touring the GUKPT and UKIPT around the country.

5years, hopefully getting started on a business venture within poker possibly to do with staking.

What roll do you reckon you'll need to play the 2/5 regularly?  What about the 1/2 for that matter?

5k+ for 1/2 capped, 8-10k+ for uncapped. 20k+ for 2/5 I think. Depends how big the 2/5 plays. Think 15k is enough if its not straddled.

Sounds about right for the 1/2 to me - I would have come out with similar figures.  No idea about the 2/5.

What is a buyin for each of those games? And when would you drop down?

You asked for 'each of those games'.  Be more specific in the future.

buyin for capped is actually £300 now. uncapped some people sit with 1k, but mostly between 200-500.

It was £200 on my table last weekend - maybe that dealer missed the memo.  £300 makes more sense - good move.

£300 is usually a good buy-in for the 1/2 (uncapped) most of the time.  Is that what you sit down with?
