lol not really a scandle.
i just really reconised the picture of his girlfriend, looked at the name, Hannah, and thought that looks a lot like Hannah Price. Searched her on facebook, first thing i see is a pic with someone who looks very similiar to how i remember Alex. 2nd thing, it says she is now living in Germany, i remember Alex writing that he doesnt get to see her that often as she lives abroad (something along those lines). And thirdly, in the pic there is a piano, i remmeber Alex saying he learnt "the flood" on the piano. I rest my case.
Myself and Alex Jobling (blonde alias - sack it off) were in the same year at School as her. I didnt really know her at all to be honest and i left at 16. Still though, pretty small world.
p.s would be a fucking sick coincidence if it isnt the same person...
woah sherlock pretty nifty work there! yeh its the same person lol, small world indeed...and what is your dame allens alias so i can tell her?!

Lots of things to look forward to this month. Firstly this weekend it's deepstack weekend at DTD which is always a good weekend for action, the following weekend is UKIPT, so same again. I hear Dr Keys will be back in town and that there's going to be a wee bit o celebration...
After that weekend I decided to take Pleno up on his offer and am going to grind it out in the sun in Gibraltar for a week. Should be a ton of juicy action there and in Marbella. Really looking forward to the weather, beaches, bitches (not really hannah, i just liked the word play
) and to meet pleno again and chill with him in his swanky pad overlooking the Mediterranean!
Hoping to be given another chance or two @ 2/5 over the next 2 weeks but we'll see...
Anyway it's been a great break, I'm feeling really fresh and clearheaded, ready to start grinding again and hopefully win the world!
ps Any tips on how to quickly get from sleeping 11pm-8am to sleeping 6am-3pm?

I am back from holidays Alex...a tad gutted at backing Keys in sides and sats and missing main event, so I am very hopeful of a double bink from you this month ;-) Seriously, good luck and I will say hi at Nottingham UKIPT if we are same 1st day or make day 2.

I've mostly done it the opposite way, but I find that one long spell of no sleep does the trick. Just go through from 8am to 6am - you'll sleep!

Just stay up for 24 hours and get yourself onto the other sleep zone as it were. I do this roughly once every two weeks when I have to be up in the day for something!

Had a pretty fun trip to Sheffield tonight. Jamie working at Gala means that he can't play within 25miles of notts and he has just got paid so, as only a true degen would do, instantly put most of his disposable income on a 1/2 table. We were playing at DTD and the game was dying so was well up for the roadtrip. Also, had just won a £850ish pot off some ginger prick so gave me a good excuse to hit and run too. Was biggest pot I've ever won would you believe...
Won 200 at Dusk and then 200 at sheffield so a good start to the month. Jamie, Sean and Andy all won too so was a solid team win.
Didn't really like the G in Sheffield to be honest. Staff and locals pretty unfriendly. Instantly got rubbed for having a posh accent (fml), and labelled "just some rich student" or something as soon as I sat down which was all pretty lol tbf. The place was badly managed and organised, only two cash tables running when there was at least enough interest for 3 or 4. Strangely was really hard to get chips. Everyone kept passing the buck (cashiers, croupiers, poker dealers, floor staff) and it meant loads of cash on the table which always tilts me. I did really like the bar/lounge area, thought that was pretty swanky. Very tilty local accent too. Imo Birmingham>Nottingham>Sheffield so far. Coventry accent seemed fairly neutral or at least didn't leave a lasting impression. Should defo go to bed, this post is getting dangerously boring.
6max tomorrow, let's win it again (beep)!

What kind of things do you do to improve your game?
Do you think that your missing out, because you don't play online (i.e massive tourney gtds etc)
Bit personal, but what did you start with?
If you were to win the dtd deepstack, and then lose discipline and control, and end up irioning the money in quick succession, would you go back to what you were originally doing (50p/1£) before, would you just give up totally?
thxs in advance
(sry 4 the grammer lol )
