Drove down to Bham to play cash tonight with Mitch and Andy. Feeling pretty shattered from a tiring day on the trading floor - got my stock portfolio up and running boom! Was really exciting buying the shares and kept checking during the day how i was getting on. Up 200 in the end, which almost covers the transaction costs but a decent start! My Dad recommended going for big companies in Oil, gas, food and drink, cos everybody always needs that right?
Tom and I invented a sickkkkk flop game today. By far the best game I've ever invented. 4 flops, 8 cards each. You place 2 cards on each flop and run the turns and rivers and see who wins. Thats the easy part. You have two sweat cards on each board that you don't see till the river. So you're final hand is a separate 4 card omaha hand for each board. Then you, from a separate deck, take all the
, jacks, queens, kings and aces. These cards determine how much each board is worth. This is called the sweat deck. Jack is £0, Queen is £5, King is £10, Ace is £20. A black deuce doubles whatever the payment ends up being, a red deuce reverses it so the winner pays the loser for that board. Got it?
E.g. I win the first of the four boards. The sweat deck card is a King. Tom pays me £10. I lose the second board, the sweat card is a black deuce -Tom is on for doubles. The next card is a red deuce, now I'm on for doubles! Ace ball = £40 for me. Can get quadrupled if u hit both black deuces. Some seriously sick sweats as you can imagine!
