Just glad you werent in the game to flop /set/house/quads with every pocket pair you get dealt.

Think you are one of the only people i can legitimately needle for being luckier than me.

Let's take a hundred random ppl who have played with us before and I'll take the under on 5 ppl that say I'm luckier.

as if it matters - the people in live poker who always drone on about others being lucky are generally the losers.

Also, maybe remind the people before you ask them that you won the monte carlo this year, in your first 1k.

From my knowledge of mitch and his game, and your posts on this diary, I'm thinking you're a fair bit tighter than Derby's chubbiest and so people will remember more when mitch gets lucky because of his style.

I honestly don't think Mitch runs that amazing, I mean i have seen him run very good at times, but have also seen him not run that good for entire sessions, I think the whole X runs sick etc is just pure banter.

There are loads of ways to be lucky/unlucky in poker, the other day for example someone limp raised in a cash game in leeds, the dealer declared it was £140 to call, I folded 22 to then learn it was actually only £65 to call, flop came 2xx and i would have for sure got £1.5k in, turn was a King and the guy had kings, can't run much better than that but no-one noticed.

No jokes, whilst we were away in Greece, Mitchs local subway branch closed down because their turnover had taken a massive hit in the past few days.

Alright, that may or may not have been the reason, but it still closed down whilst he was gone.

Game selected hard last night and played 50/1, booked a 370 win, which is my first decent 50/1 win for months!

Going to London tonight for my brothers 21st birthday meal. Going to some posh joint in charterhouse square which'll be yummmm. Bought him a sick present - a voucher for one of those adventure days where you can drive ferraris or monster trucks or go rally driving, that sort of thing. He's an adrenaline junkie so he'll love it.

Ffs, the others have been grinding out the pharaohs fortune hard after the games die lately, and the bloody theme tune has been stuck in my head for 2 days now! #whenwillitend
