if Alex said ITT that he bought the laptop off Shaun's money then its a good gag.

Definitely this.
Now the sensitive period is over (I guess the first hour would cover this) all jokes and rubdowns are fair game.

lol yes, but can't really dedicate the 2nd laptop to him...Mssrs Johnson, Johnson, Hulme and Jenkinsons are the benefactors of the latest model.

Although I did get lucky yet again vs Mr. King tonight, in a rather ugly way. I 3bet the three diamonds in position to a guy I thought was on scared money and just about to leave and had locked up his win, we were 400bbs deep iirc, so I could put a ton of pressure on him. Shaun had limped the button, I expected him to fold the vast majority of the time, but he cold called, orginial raiser folded. The flop came so we flop OK, with a pair and bdfd, but Shaun's range is pretty strong when he cold calls preflop. I decided to check and he pots the flop (50-55) and had 130 back. It's a clear fold at this point, but I decided to stick it in his eye anyway, and try and get lucky Tongue It's pretty spewy, I know I'm 25% most of the time, but he might fold or have a FD and I was losing 1300 from the 1/2 game so just went with it  turn brick, river ........

I don't play hands bad very often, but when I do I have to write about them, cos if I don't some smartarse will come on here and post it instead lol. So I hold my hands up and say, I played it bad, I got lucky, ul sir.

Ran awful in the 1/2 game however, lost a sick 2k pot which I'll write about tomorrow. Lost 950 for the night.

So yes Blondes Alex has about £200 towards his new lap top, I tabled AQ and like he says it was a ugly river, I'm sure Alex will get the rest required for his lap top tomorrow by getting it in bad again and sucking out.! GL in the tourney Alex hopefully you will run deep which will keep you as far away from my chips as possible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The raise with junk when Alex has straddled is now standard procedure...........(maybe I should nt tip him off with this comment!) The all in pressure push on the flop also imo is also standard procedure.(again imo Alex seems to feel the 50/1 players are easily out played and will fold at the drop of an "all in") It didn't put any pressure on me because I knew as soon as I bet £50 he would put me all in, unless he flopped a set I knew I was going to be good, which is why my call was easy and didn't take long to take. I must admit I did take the river badly which I later apologised to Alex for.

As we all know when you are running bad but have played the hand and trapped someone as you planned perfectly to loose to a 73 off is a killer. But then again you show me a "good looser" and I'll show you a looser!

I am sure a corona with a slice of lime from the back of the fridge would of eased this pain!
