Wanna play 4 tables of 50nl later? Can play for as long as you like or as many tables as you like. You could maybe make a video, put it in PHA and discussss, and I'll do the same. Or we can find some software to put both our holecards in a replayer.

ill do it at much lower stakes! sry for being a ghey but while im grinding these stakes im trying to play losing/breakeven players! Like the idea for sure but works just as well at lower stakes. No idea how to make a video or anything but getting replayer software would be good then maybe adding some commentary/thoughts over the top?

50 is the lowest for HU on stars.

Pretty dry action so far today. Whenever I find a breakeven or losing reg they just sitout. Struggling to get 3tables going. Ran like god vs this one guy, mustve been so demoralising for him, he kept having 2nd best showdown hands and I hit a couple of rele dirty gutshots/backdoor straights and he kept paying me off, was pretty fun!

This is my problem with trying to play heads up as a way of making money. What with all of the ways of people have of finding out how good you are these days, no one will give you action if you get good at it.

You already know this as you are avoidng winning players and you've just got started.

maybe i should just play anyone regardless of stats. If they're decent either they'll sit me out or I'll work out they're good and sit them out. I might have an edge over all the winning regs anyway.

Perhaps it's just the time of day cos yesterday evening they were plenty.

Play them all IMO.
There aren't that many that are good at that level, and it'll be fun trying to work out how to beat the better ones.

You do realise that bumhunting has been standard for a good 3-4 years, and HU isn't like it was?! you know have to play regs if you want constant action.

You've kind of missed my point. You are an aspiring poker pro. You are learning heads up poker, because you think it might make you money. You have two problems as I see it:

a) You are learning HUNL. Once it gets around that you are a winning player, you won't be able to play any more. School's closed. It's not a question of whether you will play anyone- they won't play you.
b) Man cannot live on 50NL alone. I'm presuming you want to move up in stakes. Trouble is, even if the regs at 50NL will play you, the higher up ones really won't if you get good. Games are dead.

Conclusion: Don't learn HUNL as a way of making money. Learn something else.

Just as an aside, Ladbrokes introduced Anonymous cash tables a while back. 9 tables of €100NLHU and 2 of €50NLHU running right now. About 100 6 max tables running from Two Clubs/4c to €2/€4.

Good or bad idea? Would seem to let both the fish and the sharks play without being immediately spotted as such.

well if you think coming into NLHU and just playing you will snap crush everyone and everything that's prob a bit naive.

There is obviously a reason someone is playing nl50 but it may be because the monetary amounts are too much for them to move up rather than their skill level.

There is a reason high stakes HUNL never really runs anymore, everyones got a lot better! On every site nowadays you just get a bunch of people waiting for a spack to do money to them, they have no interest in improving or 'being the best' they just want to make money off of idiots who aren't prepared to put in as much time and work pokerwise as them (as long as their oppo puts in none they don't have to be any good ldo).

Heads up games/tables etc need a massive rethink, anonymous is/could be good. Potentially having a min number of hands you must play with someone so you cant sit get 3 bet and be like sigh reg I sit out would be an improvement....

Stopping people from waiting on every table they can find is another thing, seeing 87 heads up tables being waited at and not one running is hardly a good advertisement for fish to sit down.  It'd be good if you sat, had to agree to say 25 hands min, but could tick a box at the side if you wished to play more tables, if oppo ticks it too more tables open etc

No.
Playing HU at lower limits can still be profitable, and a good way to improve your skills.

Given that your intent isn't (I don't think) to make it your sole source of income, longer term, then I can't see the issue.

What I think they should do is do like rush poker on tilt. You get dumped in a pool of say 30 players, and every time you fold, you get a new random opponent. The reason 6-max and full ring games go is because people are prepared to play against 5 people they can't beat much to get their hands on a fish. If you are playing in a pool of 30 players- you, 24 regs and 5 fish, then I think it would be better for everyone.
