He knows how to win live comps mate. So consistent. Not that you're not consistent - you are. In fact, I never heard of someone who claims to be a winning MTT player consistently not make day two or not cash in live tournaments |

i accept what andrew says about being a winning mtt player on line but there is a direct correlation between owning a computer and not cashing live . (ali mallu dont own one) even thewy claims to not play much online unless he has to. starting to think they are different games alltogether. cant have seen sunny chatta played too much on line in his lifetime either, or wadey or fraser. |

it is interesting though that at the £300-£1k level a lot of the consistent final tablers are people like wadey and frazer and even though the level of play is akin to a $20 tournament online, those that win at those, never seem to get there. Are they just the luckiest/unluckiest?
they are a different game and a lot of online guys don't adjust well to the live game

I think having a big pair of nuts carries you a lot further in the live game. If you are used to the big pressure situations live your going to deal with it better than a online player that isn't used to having a table full of people staring them down when they make the big plays. In short I think the online players are probably more cautious live until they get more experienced and used to the different pressures of live play. |
