Been playing some 1c2c plo trying to learn the basics. Don't want to put these up in pha cos ill get ridiculed. basically im a total donkey atm! im alright with what kind of hands to play in what position, although im sure full of massive leaks. i kno that position is more important in plo than holdem. i am terrible postflop. the basic thing im struggling with is comparative hand strengths. what i should be value betting/checking behind for SD. what to do with marginal hands like tptk or weak two pairs.

I'm thinking 1) This is a fold pre from the SB right? how about the button? 3b or fold? ever peeling IP?
2) my line post -flop seems fine. turn? river a c/fold even though he has 1/2pot bet left? cant see him calling much worse so i guess c/f

Almost every player you'll face at 1c/2c is utter shite. The learning curve you have to have is more hand ranges IP/OP, Board textures in terms of hand strength/equity (find dem double gutterz!), hand equity in AI situations (such as wraps vs sets, common AIOTF matchups).

Hand.1 is fine I guess, would fold pre, but 3betting this hand pre is you have like IP.

Second hand I'm giving up river. Maybe slowing on turn too. People at these stakes won't fold 2 purrz for stacks

Hand 1) fold pre

Can't ever fold the river with a set a 1c/2c. Too often they'll have a weakish 2 pair. Shoving is fine.

Hand 2) Don't donk the flop. You have straight draws, but there's a flush draw out there. If we donk the flop and get raised by Nocash4aName we're creating a much bigger pot with likely only 9 outs.

I realise you want to learn PLO, but there's little-to-nothing you'll learn playing 1c/2c as most people are droolers.

Right you are, still, don't lead out there with a flush draw on board. The hand's very likely to check round meaning we'll get a free card to try and hit our straight. The fact he calls down with that horrible two pair means we've no need to bluff in spots like that as he's going to find it hard to fold so we should always try and take a free card.

/10c on stars isn't too bad. Good enough that you can crush it and at the same time you'll be up against slightly better players so your learning curve will be quicker.

Good luck and don't be disheartened by downswings, they're ridiculously sick in PLO!
