How comes? Has she been asking?

What food do u like?

Italian, Thai, Indian. The occasional Chinese.

And British stuff like steak.

Yeh she's desperate for me to start cooking.

But I really don't like it.

Ooh, nice one Alex, hope you won a few bob.

I spotted one Mr T Lewis multi-tabling on there this afternoon, too, though most of his Tables were £1.50 - £3.

If you are in the 8pm Doublestack, you really should consider the 8.15 Mini DoubleStack, only £3.30 that one, but if you win BOTH those Tourneys, you get a £6,200 Jackpot on top. I am in it, with Jamie Burland to my immediate left (I'm so owning him....) & Thewy is in it, too. So is the fish Luther101, he's hopeless.

Is Toby a sponsored pro now?

Winning both tourneys is a 108,000 to 1 shot. And that's assuming a neutral skill edge. God knows what my actual chances are!

I didn't used to like cooking that much and still don't love it but I try to cook quite often, as Dubai says it's really pretty simple, chicken, steaks, mince, curries etc etc, all tasting 100x better than the micro stuff your eating.

Toby sponsored by Sky Poker? No, his outing for Sky Poker @ Luton was a one off, though we may do some more stuff together......but he's playing on Sky Poker today on his own money. You'd be surprised who turns up over there......

The odds on winning BOTH the "Jackpot" Tourneys may well be 108,000-1, but we had to work out the likely odds of the Jackpot being won, so that we could assess the liability to us, & I reckoned it was circa 300/1 IF we assume no edge, &, obv, a little less if we assume that the player who wins the first "leg" has a skill advantage. The logic - from the perspective of the business - is that we KNOW that someone will win the first of the 2 two tourneys, so to assess the liability, we only need the odds of the same player winning the 2nd Tourney. If that makes sense.....

Your logic is sound.

On betfair they did a similar bonus of $100k, which you got if you won 2 of 3 big evening multis with a few hundred runners.  They obviously did the 300^2 when working out the odds of someone winning.

I guessed it was about 50/50 to go in the first month.

It went on the first night.

So 1 in 300 you'll pay out the 6k so it's costing you £20 in EV. If it encourages just one person to play the £20er or 7 to play the £3er its +EV from your perspective, so obviously a good idea, wp. Could easily make it a 20k jackpot and it be +EV imo.

From my POV its -ev to play the £3er though imo
