Earlier I opened a letter from rushcliffe borough council, just read the first line of it, think it's either a council tax bill or I've been elected mayor (obv if elected I'll have to give up poker). Didn't have time to read it all and im currently at a tuperware party so will have to wait til I get home to find out....... |

im not gonna dis-respect you and claim I was rooting for anything but number 2. I wanna see how much you love the game  Family are tilting, I had trouble with my family+poker to the extent where we spoke literally 2 or 3 times in 2 years (not even spending christmas/birthdays together) basically it stems from their ignorance (I've just written an article on this actually) but it's a really frustrating type of ignorance cos it's conscious ignorance, where they actually know how ignorant they are but refuse to even entertain improving their knowledge on the subject and that is so frustrating because there opinion of is basically stereotypical and media driven, basically completely wrong. There is no way round this but to ignore it and not let it bother you, life's too short and all. for the record, someone write me a cheque for £100,000 i'll "give up"* poker in a fucking heartbeat. *give up = pretend to have a job in Leeds and still play online/go on lots of work trips. |
