I can't see Poshboy going further than top 5 this time...

Hmm... I'm pretty sure this hand will be forgotten in next instalment of Poshboy's blog which most likely will be called 'How great I am'... Cheesy

The worst surprisingly looks Chinese Frankie, as he went from nearly chip lead to short stack from his raising/folding to any 3bet.

Cody obviously knows what he's doing more than  any other...

Alex looks like a schoolboy who just got his lunchbox stolen by bully for seventh day in a row...

Rastafish - well he's rastafish... A9 vs qq... wtf??? Oh yeah, he's rastafish...

And finally guy who sits between Cody and Frankie - he looks like 80 year old who came for the church and somehow wondered into Playboy mantion...

anyone know who this alonso chap is? these are 3 out of his 12 posts on blonde and for some reason has it in for me!

dunno what that last post even means!

obv the 75ss hand was gonna get mentioned too, always talk about when i get lucky/spew off - am defo balanced in that respect imo.

You extracted the quotes from the context of the updates a bit. I wasn't supporting anybody in particular on final table tbh this time. I don't have anything against you, except the fact that you act like you are somehow 'better' than others around you in real life.  That's only reason why I didn't rail for you win this time (although wd, to finish in tiop 4 for 2nd event in a row is an achievement). Marry Christmas.

So we've met in real life? You going to tell me who you are? Sorry that you feel that way, it's something im quite conscious of and think I've got a lot better at over the past year or two. I definitely used to be like that for sure. I don't think many would agree with you if they knew me well (or even if they didn't) but itd be naive of me to think you were alone in thinking that.

Ps. Well done on the result.

Funny cos Alex comes across as the complete opposite to me. Not seen any ego whenever I've played with him

+1, people who think he's arrogant just haven't noticed how insecure he is. Why do you think he has this blog and tries so hard to get the most hits all the time?

Wouldnt be unfair for Alex to walk around any live poker venue like he was better than most because he is as a player and as a person.

The couple of times I met Alex I also got the complete opposite impression btw

Anyways alex probably is better than most other players, hence why he's a pro and makes b2b big scores in 1k's. There's meant to be an ego in poker

Alex has been losing for chunks of this year.... pretty sure that if he really was arrogant he would have tried harder to win. Very unfair comments imo.

I don’t usually venture into the diaries section but just clicked this open and stumbled on a subject I relate to. I would like to lend my support to Alex here because I know what it feels like to be subject of negative bias from a fellow member for having a certain style that can oft be misinterpreted.

Another member is currently doing the same thing to me and his last 3 posts in my direction were….

“Mantis you mug”

“Mantis causes offence and disruption wherever he posts and I bet you can't find a single person who disagrees”

“Mantis, those quotes in your sig are sooo sad!”

Think Alex should just dust any negative comments off because you can’t please all of the people all of the time and he's got a lot to be proud of.

Yes we met we times we played few times (although it doesn't involve any sizeable wins/losses)... My name wouldn't change anything tbh as we don't know each other too much. Also I feel these few posts were a bit exaggerated, so can we put it to rest now?
