April results

Profit £1567
Hours 110

Pretty disappointing month - a nasty £9k downswing in the cash games, my only saviour is these randoms binks I've had in online comps, rescuing the month into at least a profit. The Spanish open win I only book as a £250 win, since I cleared makeup and that was my profit - only fair since I don't count the comps I don't cash in as losses.

I'm playing bad and running bad in cash games at the moment, it's demoralising, but my tournament game is at it's best and I'm really hungry for more success there, hence why I'm putting in more volume into tournaments and less into cash than ever before.

Glad not to have a losing month so far in 2012, and overall, I'm up about £23k for the year so the big picture is good!

On the downside, I don't really know how, but my roll is 3k less right now than it was at the start of the year! I know I've bought the car for £11k and the insurance £2k, so that's £13k, so that means I've spent £13k in 4months! And I'm up about £2k from staking, so I've actually spent £15k in 4months. REALLY?!

Absolutely no idea how I've done that Sad

Thailand, Marbella, Website, £500 sports bets, HP.......

I've made ONE sports bet and I won £700 from it!

HP main culprit probs Tongue
Really? How much sauce do you get through. Smiley

Arrived safe in San Remo this afternoon, first impressions are extremely positive - it looks like one of the nicest places I've been to in Europe. The train journey from Nice was awesome- incred scenery along the coast and then you pull up in San Remo, the Casino is like this huge palace with red carpeted steps up to the entrance, chandeliers all over the ceilings, vast marble floors, huge poker room with 4/5 comps going on, cash games, tons of table games - it's the nuts.

And you walk outside and there's the sun and sea with the mountains behind you. Wow.

Played a satellite to the main, no good, but encouraging signs from the opposition Tongue

Day 1 tomorrow at 2pm legooo Smiley

Sounds terrific. I'm off to Nice in 10 days time, planning to get the train along the coast too, & spend a day in Monte Carlo as well. The South of France in the Spring has such a beautiful climate & "feel", with really nice quality of light.
