Did you get on to play much footy the other night Alex. Can you give us a run down of the team, and your thoughts on their ability strengths n weaknesses etc. What's for winning the league

PJ - Reminds me of Brian laudrup for some reason.
Gaz North - Keep expecting him to do a Joey Barton but so far he's disappointed me by remaining pretty calm.
Stato - Pretty good keeper his ability belies his weight
Mitch - Like Le tissier pretty lazy but capable of moments of inspirational flair
Keith - Good at shouting at people
Simon Deadman - Like Torres before he went shite (also liable to the red mist)
Will Fry - Creative/roaming midfielder not bad as long as he stays away from the funny fags
Jack Allen - Pretty decent will prob be even better once he's recovered from his shin splint injury

Google is your friend. Although if he's from Keith's generation even the internet might not have any records of him.

Brian Laudrup was one of the Danish twins. Played as an attacking midfielder, same as his brother.

Definately the worse of the 2 brothers though Cheesy

(me too Mitch)

Brian Laudrup was actually pretty decent - surprised and disappointed that you don't know who he is (although not surprised at all posh boy hasn't heard of him)

Definately underrated just because Micheal played the same role and was better imo

was replaced by someone who took 3 minutes to make any decision (seriously tilted my life) ..

The only time I've ever tilt-quit a live game is sharing a table with Doc Sands (David Sands) he is the most infuriating player to play with I have ever come across it makes my blood boil thinking about him at a poker table.
You could always try thinking about his GF instead!

I agree I would rather think abut his GF...? Why was he infuriating? taking to much time with menial decisions....?

Chippyman & WTR I got the action wrong, my bad...

My three all time favorite players on the poker table are Reza (from the Vic) Layne Flack and Raggy from DTD... The two players that I actually don't like at my table are Jeff Duvall and Freddie Carle (both from the Vic) I always get owned at stakes that actually mean something by both, worst thing is Freddie Carle actually looks like my grandad and always gives you a smile while sweeping up your chips...

Love the footy write up and peejay the laudrup analogy is high praise indeed.
They won the euros 20 years ago with Denmark
Lol at Gaz, he looks like he could suffer from fits of mental violence.

Sigh at people not knowing who Brian Laudrup is, just shows my age. His bro was really really good.
