After a sweet double victory for the DTD Degens, went to DTD for a 1/2 game, which was really fun.

Getting in a £1.2k hole in the first hour wasn't - suffered a nasty equity beat vs Kurt with losing an 85/15 for £1k, then he went for a fag, came back and immediately stacked me again, with AA vs my K9spades on a cold QJxAJ with three spades.

Boshi helped me out of it with a lucky river where I had on a two spades board, called £60 and the pinged the lovely disguised on the river and happily called his £210 all-in wager.

Someone was adequately punished when he limped three diamonds under the £8 straddle, called my £35 iso, and tried to tarp me on a Two Diamonds board, when I backed into a flush Cheesy

So had two bits of bad luck, two bits of good luck and ended up about level.

Done some damage to my car today though, when trying to do a good deed by taking Denise, our cleaner, home because it was raining. Forgot I hadn't put my contact lenses in and didn't bother going back inside to do so when I realised because it's only a 5 minute journey and thought it'd be alright. It was dark and wet, so poor conditions anyway, and got adequately punished by running over a traffic bollard that I just didn't see at all Sad Probs geeged a few hundred quid to realign the axle and replace the front right wheel sighhhh. What a tit.

Yeah, didn't think you had the straight on the river and decided to turn my hand into a bluff thinking you'd fold against me with two pair or pretty much any hand other than the one you had!  Sigh.

The objective of my comment wasn't to 'help'. It was more to outline the fact that the guy was a massive douche. Stato went to the toilet so I felt he needed to know

Maybe he'd heard of your reputation from leicester....?

was a really good bluff tbf, would've never called with two pair except maybe T8. You played it like a set! I didn't really mind what you had on the river though Tongue

I'm sure people with records as good as Alex, Andy and whoever else your accusing really maximise their hourly rates travelling a few hours to collude in a 1/1 live game. I mean, get a fucking life its just so obviously bollocks.

If your just rofling about its cool but doesn't seem that way

I was in the 1/1 game this happened and there is just no danger of there being collusion from anyone in that game. Alex, Stato, Thigh and PJ all came to the game and they all played big pots against each other down the streets and were 3betting/4betting each other alot. As Boba and Alex have already said, these internet wizards don't collude they want nothing more than to crush each others souls to get 1 up on them.

Accusing Alex and PJ of colluding is just beyond absurd

This is in reference to an incident at gala leicester over a year ago that none of us except PJ was involved in. PJ had just started playing poker and was only 19, started hanging out with a couple of lads who weren't the best influences and so he didn't really know what he was doing was wrong - which wasn't colluding afaik, it was sharing a bankroll with them and softplaying each other in a couple of cash game sessions, which are obviously still wrong and against the rules, but nowhere near as bad as actually colluding (nor as blatantly cheating to someone who didn't know better).

That was a long time ago and he defo knows better now. Now he's like a fucking princess at the table Cheesy

Well I was just starting to like pj after his lax attitude in chasing up payment for Prague but I'll have him officially penned as a wrong'un. Not sure its fair for this story to be told on blonde but at least it prevents anymore accusations with the story being out there

fwiw I think young guys spazz ridiculously often vs each other live, whilst not realising how much collusion is a standard in casino games. So much soft playing and utter bullshit between live players.

Defo fairer to pj to say what killerkillsby is referring to rather than just leaving his brandishes as they are.

Soft playing is standard in most casino card rooms. There's always someone who knows someone.

A few years ago, before I joined Blonde, I nearly ripped the heads of 2 young internet pros at Walsall casino who were colluding. The one actually used to post on Blonde. They were all mouth until I grabbed the one by the throat. Good old days
