"They're twins, both 4."

I hesitate and lie a little- I just wanted to carry on seeing Shelley without the hassle
"It's not serious. We're just seeing each other"
"Rupinder..... it's complicated with kids. You will learn to love them"
Did this conversation actually go like: eh bhori kol niahna hehga? Hanji daddy kineh sal de heh? char sal deh meh thenu dhasah see thou enu dheek sata see jeh pakah gal na bana pakah gal ne, essy ek dhoja nou kalah dheeked hegah Rupinderrrr, niahna nal gal mushcal bhanjendee lol or does your dad speak english with you??? lol |

Do your dad and brother have the same laugh as you? If so, how much to bring a stand up dvd of Russell Peters to Leicester and watch it with the 3 of you? Would be increddddd. I know this is 8 minutes, but a MUST watch imo. |

My life story will resume when I'm in the mood otherwise telling it will be shite.
Me and shell both played grand prix yesterday. We both had golden chips and arrived there pretty excited to play. Shell bust at 600/1200 when she jammed 16k with AK from the sb and got looked up by 33 (personally against Shell's range I think this is a shit call but w/e). She played really well and was proper gutted when she bust.
I was pretty devved too. been playing tourneys for a long time and understand how shit they are. I hope my table mates won't mind me saying but I was in complete control of the table until it came to showdown. Lost 0/5 races and got coolered twice (AJ vs AQ Bob, AKdd vs AA). Had 80k at 1k/2k then went out in the space of a few hands. Jammed KJ BoB into Rudders big who found Jacks which cost me 30k (maybe raise/fold live but don't think it's a huge error) then jam 66 into AK for 27k to lose race number 5 and be on my way.
May play the super 50 on Sunday as really enjoyed playing yesterday and did so with quite a bit of confidence for the first time in a while. Just need to win when the cards are on their backs which seems to be the tough part!

ravvy put me onto this thread last night george. refreshing change from poker poker poker and an excellent read. you are one of the few genuine nice guys who no one has a bad word for. you collect them 25 chips better than anyone i know as well.

I do come to these events well prepared to wait for George though, a chick lit book (too embarrassed to sit reading my current strategy book!!) Pens & paper for impromtu list writing & usually some sort of sweeties  occasionally nappies un wipes if I've picked up the wrong bag!!! But I'm quite happy just to watch George do his thang, I know I'm biaised but I think he is amazing to watch, fascinates me. There was a tough patch where I appeared to be a BOK so i wasn't allowed within a mile of his table ..... Unfortunately I have to concede there did appear to be grounds for this claim but totally unintentionally!!!! I may have lost where I was going with this post!!?!? |
