Cork? Where the fuck is Cork?

As I researched where Cork was won after winning a package online I find we cannot fly from East Midlands but it's only a short car journey to Birmingham. Me, Kev and Dan Ward decide to make the trip. The first one for a while and it's a bit like old times minus you know who (he who must not be mentioned- much like Harry Potter)

Fun on frolics on the way there, the flight is on time but Kev is shitting it cos it's a tiny aer lingus plane with propellers. For some reason I have never feared flying and long may it stay that way. I mean no matter what they look like they're designed to stay in the sky??

We land on time and have already regged to play the 100 Euro side event, trading 5% each. I usually have a 10% standard trade with Kev but have never traded with Dan before. Anyone who knows Dan will know he's a solid/good player and always has the world at the first break. Well obv not this time. Between at the break they have 15 bigs while I've managed to chip up to 18k (5k starting stack, 30 min levels). I soon iron that out when peeling 98cc and getting it against tens on a 965 one club board. I then somehow don't go broke with QQ vs AA when my opponent decides to flat pre and raise me on an A42 flop when I c bet. I jam the last of my money in with A4 for 3.8k at 300/600/50. KQ looks me up. Does KQ ever lose to Ace rag. The queen on the river confirmed my suspicions.

Would have been nice to get the trip off to a winning start but hey ho. Early night before the main! Some of you may know that I've been backed of late by John Spinks (although that arrangement has finished on completion of SCOOP) and I had qualified for the ME on his dime so the comp was on MU. Good news was MU was like 400$ so if I got a decent score I would retain a good chunk. I'm not much of a drinker and after Dan and Kev have finished their beers we decide to try and get some food.

We try and find the number for a pizza place on Iphone apps/numbers etc. Not much joy but we do find one place. Ring em up and they don't deliever? WTF? A pizza place that doesn't deliver?? I suggest we go walkies to try and find somewhere so off we go! No idea where but my stomach has a good scent and we soon find a McDonalds (24 hour). Never been one for Maccie D's tbh. KFC and Burger king for the win. We ask a taxi driver who directs us to a dominoe's. Weeeeeeeeeeee.

We walk to the said dominoes and see the gleaming lights in the distance. As we approach I try and push open the door. It won't budge. Weird.

We see a sigh "Open for collection 3pm-12am. Delivery 12am-5am" We look at the time and it's 12.55am. So the long and short of it is it's shut. Great. Maccie D's it is! We walk back. I make a joke about the it being drive thru only. Haha. As we come to the entrance the place shuts at 1am for walk in orders. We try and fail to walk thru the drive thru so end up getting a cab just so we can order food!!! Wolf down the meal (which was actually very nice) and all get some sleep at around 2.30am in readiness for day 1B.....

Being a food expert & some may even say Guru, I'm in the best position to help you here. The standard line in this spot is to phone said dominos and get them to deliver to "right out-side your shop".
