What I really don't understand is why anyone else would be willing to back JY after he has behaved like this with a previous backer.  Must be some backers out there willing to take massive risks just to get a +EV player on board.

Can think of one or two other players with worst histories who are backed

how do you know they are sat out on party?

btw - dont get defensive - it was bad icm - and you didnt have enough chips to find out anything - you might have found out you just cost yourself $x

Not getting defensive but calling it awful is a bit harsh imo. You know what the play is like on party- they don't know their arses from their elbows.

Dude was snap folding every hand- it was pretty obv he was d/c even though it doesn't say "sit out"

ICM wise it was shitty but I just wanted to find out some info on my opponents. The guy sitting out pretty much cost me the win. He kept winning every showdown (unlike on stars where you hand just gets mucked, on party it's live) and by the time he bust he had 3 bigs.

ah - ok  - i was only casually watching and just saw he kept winning the showdowns  - didnt see the snap folding- yeah was pretty brutal for you

still didnt like the AQ  Grin

Was tricky. Was killing me. The money jump from 4th to 3rd was 500$ iirc. First got 5.3k and third got 2k. I really wanted to go ftw but realised that matey would blind down any sec (ended up being like 5 circuits of the button 4 handed!!!)

someone post the hand?

IIRC I had 45k. Button had 250k. SB 130k and BB 10k with like 200 behind (sitting out) I jammed. Blinds 5k/10k

Been reading the Moorman/Jymaster backing breakdown. Pretty sick. FWIW, and I don't know Moorman that well at all but I think he's getting pretty screwed over:

http://www.pocketfives.com/f10016/backing-controversy-jymaster11-warning-very-long-646766/

Cliffs:

-Jy is 80k MU

-Black Friday hits

-Moorman emails American horses- wants to give them notice that he can't guarantee backing for WSOP because of money tied up online. I believe he did this to give them opp to sell action for WSOP.

-Jy assumes this means he's been dropped and is free from walking away from deal as WSOP and 10k live events were included in original deal even tho other horses understood tone of email

-Jy finds new backers for WSOP (I think) and now believes that if he rejoins Moor that MU is nil

-They get pokerjamers to arb who says off the cuff "Sounds like MU should be nil" with Jy is now saying is the conclusion of the arb.

Would love to hear everyone's views on this

They've now come to an agreement according to pokerjamers,

didn't put in the prizepool but assume at worst its 0.5/0.3/0.2 and more likely far shallower (making wider shoves better).

nash says jam 99+ Aqs+ AKo but is dependant on btn calling range of JJ+ AK and SB TT+ AJs AKo which seems hopeful at best.  note it doesn't account for future possible outcomes too but I don't think we can really go on a tear if we double up here.  So pretty big mistake by jamming, probs a QQ+ spot in reality but w/e is no way I wouldn't have jammed in game

Yeh I knew it was probs a fold. I think I let frustration get the better of me. The bb had been sat out the entire final and I had blinded down from 100k to 40 waiting for him to bust! he won like 4 showdowns before this hand with a bowl.

Just read it all now.

Few thoughts:

- Chris is wrong if he thinks Jymaster was ever his 'friend'. Pretty sure a friend would be more accomodating towards someone who's invested so much money into him.

- Is Lauren Kling any good? lols.

- Getting one person to arbitrate is silly.

- Moorman should employ a PA. 20k a year to do all his spreadsheets, organisation etc. Woulda stopped prior grims too.

Staying in touch with someone might have helped as well.

Had a nice spin on SKY POKER. Had 1 pound in my account. Bored as I was I put the quid on two horses at Kempton that I liked the name of (one was fire fighter so put the bet on in honour of Ace's love for fireman Sam)

They both won. 24 quid. nice. So I decide to stick the 24 quid on 6 teams tonight. All win. 350 quid. TYVM. Decided whether to spin or cash out......

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
