Really? I find him unlistenably terrible. Fortunately I think they had to give him a break for a bit after he wet himself with excitement at the fact that all Yang's clubs have different coloured grips.

Topped up on course specialist furyk (3 top tens in last 3 visits) and also think ive found another gem in allenby.

He's had two top tens at this crse b4, looked on good form last week and seems generally overpriced.

Also have had to save on ultra consistent donald, i have to sweat at least one european.

Was tempted by anthony kim ew first 6@175-1 with stans earlier in the week but i cldnt get on and price went.

Best cap it now as i've risked over a quarter of my balance.

All my bets are as follows:

Outright market.

2pts win Mickleson@16-1

2pts win Luke Donald@14-1

2pts ew Furyk@ 57.5-1 (first 6 places)

1pt ew K J Choi@33-1

1pt ew Allenby@125-1

1pt ew Snedeker@66-1-come on my sonnnnnnnnnnn

-------------------------------

Top of markets.

0.5pt ew top american Snedeker@30-1 (first 4 places)-come on my sonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

0.5 pt ew top american Furyk@25-1 (first 4 places)

3.5pts Furyk to be in top 20@2-1

2.5pts ew Allenby top ROW@25-1
(first 4 places)

1pt Allenby top Australian@9-1

Balance=57.15 points.

Wowsers. What an absolute mare so far from my selections bar the snedman. Already lost 18.5pts on this comp.

Might as well try and lose some more then.

Right small aftertimeish cpla bets from yday. B4 i went out on zee booze yday afternoon id already thought the place angle had started to become interesting due to macs early dominance.

Placed a cple of bets mainly for the top 4 place value. and because it really looked like half the field-inc many of the more fancied players had already busted their comps.

So i bkd the following troops:

0.5pt ew Rock@125-1 (top 4 places 1/5 odds)

0.5pt ew Palmer@66-1

Balance=55.15 points.

Both are now -1 and although looking unlikely to overhaul ten shots i'm v happy with their place chances, especially the somewhat heroic rock-i wonder how he'd have done with some actual crse practice.

Now i can't resist dipping in again as i'm gen shocked some books are still going top 3 ew rather than first 2. Yang is the man i'm chancing. Thought he's be around a 6/1-7/1 shot so 9/1 looks very nice, he's a genuine winner and rory will have a huge fight if it gets close.

Personally wld love to see rory win, but at 1.45 i'd have 2 be a layer.

2pts ew Yang@9-1 (first 3 1/5 odds)

Balance=51.15 points.

Delighted that Rory is going to win this but he has ruined it punting wise. Got Garcia tied 3rd and don't even get the heartache of when he has his bad round as he's not got a chance of winning.

I wouldn't be too confident about Rory winning this.

Imo Yang has a hell of a chance here, He's as solid as a rock , already a major winner and there still remains a big doubt as to whether Rory can handle the pressure.

Although there is no doubting the talent Rory has, a 6 shot lead round a US open course is nothing. Especially if it gets no more rain.

Just got on Kuchar w/o Rory at 12s with VC, 7's and 8's everywhere else.

Just for a sweat really and decent price and playing fairly well.

Yeah 12s is huge-gone now unfort, ty for highlighting this market 2.

Kuchar has 8 top 8's apparently this season.

Added to my portfolio.

1pt ew Yang without rory@10-3 (first 4 1/4 odds)

0.5pt ew Snedeker without rory@14-1

Balance=48.15 points.

Edit- all day ive just been wanting to top up my yang bet, so have, i've dbld it. Just think the win price is too big and the place value is immense.

Tho way my form is going that makes him a sure fire lay.

2pts ew Yang@9-1 (first 3 places 1/5 odds)-now have 4pts ew total on yang@9-1

Balance=44.15 points.

Given what Rory is in the process of doing here, is 8/1 not a huge price for the Open, which is only three weeks away?

8/1 looks knee-jerk low to me, I'd be very surprised if the price didn't drift back to around 12/1 even if he wins by ten shots this week which looks fairly likely. Lay the 8/1 I'd say.

Rory is a very streaky putter imo although he is undoubtedly the best ball-striker in the game.
