A flop of    is checked round, three way with Charalambous, Cong Le in the small blind and Iraj Amiri in the big blind

On the  turn Le and Amiri check call 1,3000 from Charalambous

River  is checked by all

Le berates Amiri for over-calling on the turn, Charra wonders what the fuss is and flips  to win the pot after declaring "two pair" and Le goes for a quick walk

Amiri looks bemused

Jeff Kimber and Will Fry clash

On a board of 10-8-2-6-2

Will bet 20,000 on the river into a 12,000 pot to set Jeff all in

Jeff eventually makes the call showing 7-9 for a straight,

Will mucks showing a 10

"I wanted to get you off an overpair but i couldn't get you off that"

Jeff up to 45,000

Will down to 12,000

On a flop of 2-4-5 with 6,000 in the middle

Lynn Beaumont moves all in for her last 3,200.

She gets one caller...

Her opponent shows Q-Q

Lynn has J-J

The turn comes a JACK

River is a blank 8.

Lynn hits a two-outer to survive and double to 12,500

Kirit patel just been knocked out by Andrew Georgiou.

Didn't see the start of the hand but the flop was 887, Kirit was allin on flop. After a bit of a dwell Georgiou calls with 99, Kirit flips over AQ, turn a 6, river a King.

Big big hand just taken place. I'm letting Tighty do this one, think he's feeling a bit left out.

Alan Stearn raises in mid position and Karl Mahrenholz calls in position

flop

Chips fly in from as far afield as Hong Kong

Karl is all in for 13,000 with

Alan covers him and has

turn a brick  two spades

river  to give rivered quads versus a gutshot straight flush and double Karl to 28,000

Karl almost smiles

It's been so long since I played live poker that I forgot that diamonds were actually red.

An hours dinner break now after 4 levels

56 of 70 are left

blinds are 150-300-25 when they come back

Average stack is 18,500

We are promised chip counts. By the same token Tiger Woods promised to be faithful, so you never know

Two cash tables underway, with a few names on the lists.

Cash games usually very well organised here at Manchester so I would imagine they will fill up very quickly.

Buffet... Tighty said 4 out of 10, I wasn't sure if he was referring to how many portions he had or not.

I am continually surprised at how consistently average the buffets here at the G are, compared to the good food in the restaurant.

That's all.
