Hi Ant are you going to be playing Aspers Stratford this weekend?
Looks good value £230+£20 20k ss on a 30min clock but there is £5000 being added to the prizepool and also £5000 in prizes from Paddy Power added as well.
2 day event

You are an absolute ledge for putting that up, tyty. Wouldn't have known.
I am 50/50 on it. I am smashing volume out online at the minute and seemingly everytime I go out to play a live event my momentum falls and I have to pick myself up again.
I might just bash out about 100 tourns a night on 12 hours plus a day 6 days a week, with Monday as the day off as that is my 5 a side night and pubbage after.
Got a very very very deep br strategy in play and i am dancing in these games because of it (turbos) and may well decide to just not get out of my room for the next 6 months before vegas (gym allowed but not obligatory), hopefully have loads saved and just go over there and grind a tourney a day.
But we'll see, I just think playing live is a gutting experience if you are not hugely overrolled for the games, plus the travel and the amount of time spent looking at dreg hands. I think that is why I come back online so dejected initially, and it takes a while to get back into the swing of things.
I am bashing out games on pokerstars at the minute and they have some very good satellites on there for a lot of different events. That may well be the way I find myself next playing live.
The money added concept though for the tourney you have suggested Eso Kral, may make me make one more exception. Hope all is well with you btw.

I won't be playing this weekend Eso, though I would love to. Online is kicking off well for me and I am not going to halt that momentum, but best of luck to you!
Think my focus will lie in grinding turbos, from mainly pokerstars and also to include any turbo sats into live events. I won't be playing the x3 speed rebuy ones though as they disturb the rest of my grind with their pace and with how much you need to invest in them.
I know a strategy there would be to reg with a minute to go 59 mins in, buy in once and just sit there for 30 mins until the huge add on is offered and then play from there, but with so many of these tourns available keeping track like that will be hard. So I am going to stick with the x2 tourns which have been good fun and also play in sats where they end before the target event begins so that I can unregister and take the tourney dollars. If i continue to play the big big target events with my new BR scheme I will just be hurting my bottom line every night and probably tilting from the variance.
The rest of my grind will make up of most of the turbo MTT's available online in a certain, relatively low buy in range and I am going to continue to smash out the 180 turbos, 3r, 8f and 15f. Of late I have had good success in them. But finding it difficult to find an optimum grind with so many turbos available with the sats involved too, so I am going to go with a bit of trial and error before I settle on something.
Recent days have been going well, with day savers helping me out along the way. Got a third in the 50f .fr 6max for 1.3k, qualified for 10 euros and as the target tourn already started i couldnt unreg, so nice hit there. Will take me a while to know what is best and I would like to eventually find out about how much i could expect to make a month, but would need to bang out a massive sample size to try to get clear results in spite of variance, but would always need to factor it in anyway.
I guess you could say that since I have gone pro in the last 6 months (without uni distracting me) I have dabbled in the ways of old that were self destructive. I would be playing too high across too many games of that buy in and have really bad nights, then be tilting a little and without realising, continue to be a bit of dead money.
Now I have implemented a very clear financial plan and record of all the sites I play on with their daily balances, along with my funds in bank and everything else. I am going with a buy ins plan that is about 2.5-3x more nitty than before meaning the swings are barely noticeable. I am playing 16 tables on average at the peak times, which means I am ironing out variance well as quickly as possible with playing so many. I also am becoming very aware if I am just not in the mood anymore to play which in that case I am unregistering everything and taking a break.
I think the biggest problem with me is stamina. I am at my worst physical fitness in my whole life and before the last two months I couldn't really feel the effects, but now it is hindering my concentration and I have to play fewer tables where before I was zoned in to so many more and playing well on them. I just basically need to include a sesh a day of the gym, with a 30 mins walk there, 45 mins in the gym hitting cardio and weights and then the bus back (as a walk back would be too time consuming). Not to forget the sauna, ohhhhhhhhhhh yes, that is an incentive. Have a funny, if not disgusting story about a Sauna experience I will probably share another time but anyway, I think that this all would keep me fresh for any grind I want to take on that day.
With the exercise I believe healthier eating habits would fall into place because for the exercise to be more bearable I will probably eat a lot better foods. I think this is better than thinking about diet first without exercising as I think with me, it is doing the exercise that makes eating healthier easier, rather than the other way around, so I am just going to get on that shortly.
Set a target just now of what I need to have BR wise to dabble live again, and it is a big number, so a huge incentive to get me going on this new, dare I say it, professional setup. I won't be divulging info on how much I make a night, or lose, nor will i brag about any binks (the .fr one above will be my last) unless I think it's a biggie and worth a shout out for how well I played in it or if it is another monster bink like my $26k party one. I will probably reduce things to whether or not it was a good/bad night and concentrate more on if the prep and play was good, as being results orientated is bad form.
Think I am going to use this log to say how well the games are going generally, if I see any flaws in my prep, how well the weight loss and fitness is going and subsequent forays into playing football (I still have a genuine belief of becoming a semi pro goalkeeper, deffo have the technical quality, just obese at the moment. A shame no-one goes for the Neville Southall type anymore!) and other things that should make this an OK read.

In your Hendon Mob photo, you don't look fat.

Gained about 6 stone since that pic. That was in my hayday as an 18 year old, I should update it but I think I am waiting for the revival. Let's say in May/June, just before I head over to Vegas (would be nice) there will be a more truthful pic, hopefully without the folds of fat.
