safe, £9750, after some dealings. They threw in 4 free Ipad Minis aswell for the final table which I got one of. Awesome stuff. Isn't an Ipad mini going to be a phone size tho?

Yeh I know, terrible timing right? Final tabled my last 3 of 4 tourns, been knocking on the dorr for ages, but now I want moarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Got a very steep BRM strategy to live by now though, and I think £330 punts are going to be all I may do off my own back and I really need to limit them to protect the earnings online.

There is a huge tourn coming up on Boxing day at the Big Bluff though that I will probs be involved with. Otherwise online grind on the mind.

Yehh, no more of those. I am just going to go for cereal instead to ease my need for no effort cooking. Wheatabix to the rescue.

Yup it was.

That man was a good player, very solid and was just unlucky in that pot. He played well throughout the day, good backing.

I was 18th of 18 players with 6.5 bbs, coming back into day 2 with 14 paid. So a tilting trip all the way back to the casino looked likely but I managed to use my turbo tourn tekkers to help myself out, plus won 5 flips, that always helps. Smiley

Just had a solid night online, after only firing up about 8 tourns including a shot at trying to qualify for the UKIPT Edinburgh, hopefully I will eventually get there. I have the Betfair $600f $100k GTD, and DTD £336 £150k in my sights for the month of January and will be looking to qualify online for all.

I included the subtraction of my 52.5% stake in the £550 tournament I am playing on Sunday at Mint Casino London, which I sold the package for on this site, before I played tonight and still made a nice profit regardless, so in my head now I am freerolling Sunday which is always a great feeling.

That bink at Aspers has really settled me down and is giving me a great platform to play much higher games online, but still have a ridiculously secure BR strategy. My plan is to dominate the turbos online and play them exclusively to make a rough daily profit that I have sort of thought about as being what i should be expecting. Obviously only accounting for that after loads of games after 3 months maybe to get a better picture. Then I want my BR to inflate playing these games that I am very comfortable in, and with an even steeper BR plan I am going to attack the normal structured tourns, but this time with a difference.

I hope to be so comfortable in the game of choice in the slower tourns that I will play quite a bit differently to what I do now in experimentation of lines that might just work but I never get to try out because of the high variance risk involved. I think I have played way too ABC in slower structures online, mainly because I multitable too many. When I get down to 2/3 tables near the end of a tourn my game is so much better, as it is in fact when I am 1 tabling live. So I need to try and basically play as great as possible on the slowies across about 15 tables average and do it by experimenting and seeing what I can get away with. I can only be successful with this when I am very comfortable BR wise so I can try some crazy shit, but obv it has to have sound logic behind it, and see how I can make my game much more well rounded.

As I think that the absolute top players aren't confined by keeping within the lines of a safe winning game, when most of us grinders are, maybe because they have had a huge bink to their name early and can relax much more, but I basically have described, in a very roundabout way, that if you have more buy ins to your name you have the capacity to play better. I need to break the shackles of playing safe, and get creative.

I am first going to play the turbos and try and basically see if I can continue to be as good as i can in them. I probably play these a little bit differently to accepted norm of the 'right' way to play them and think I can seek out extra edges with different plays I have been trying.

So the task is, I am going to try and build the BR playing turbos online trying to solve that form of the game as much as possible. Swell the BR to a nice level, and then hit the slowies, where the skill edge is most evident, as creatively as I can. Ultimately I think this will improve my ROI across the board.

I think Sunday, there will be turbo sats played into some of the majors, and I may have one or two majors involved each day, especially if there is a juciy turbo sat into them.

I am writing notes after each session and how each of my plays went if I had tried something different. Or noting maybe that I should play a certain way on a certain site, or note that I am losing a lot in a certain tourn and maybe I need to refocus on it or drop it altogether. I think the retrospective sessions with my notepad about my grind will help me reflect and improve upon my game where I can.

So enjoying things a lot at the moment, treating myself to some new headphones, bought Mum, Dad and bro a group trip up to watch Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace, away, on the 29th December, letting Mum and Dad experience an away atmosphere, which is always a loud one with Palace! Can't remember within the last year all of us going out for the whole day and even though it may seem like an odd one with the parents, it should be a great craic, because collectively our sense of humour is pretty dark and I do enjoy times spent with those three, but they are rare. So this is a remedy.

You prob have far too many tables anyway but the 3x turbo sats are super soft. I mean people are just terrible.

I often haven't included them in my grind, the 8r ones, anyway not the 1rs, as you need to late reg them and I always get put off by that as I want to concentrate elsewhere, but right you are they do play badly. Just that there is no real play in them, as you often have only 4 bbs after addon, if you look to play for the addon that is. In the 1rs you don't have to. But in the £8r sat for the UKIPT, it is dangerous to enter that from the start and play because before you know it you are £160 down and have a headache with a short stack.

My best game atm, is probably the 2x rebuys on stars and any other rebuy turbo tourn as the bigger stack give you more chance to move and get the folds from others whereas the shortstacked ones people are very much more conscious of getting busy, which is crap as your edge is decreased.

The 60k 1r 3x turbo, I am going to win this year imo. Came 25th in it the other night and just think it is there for the taking despite the horrendous 10k+runners.

Not doing too badly live, another £4k cash tonight, coming third in the 888 £550 superstack. Was backed by Edgascoigne, Bobalike and Eso Kral on here and all are going to be looking at about 6x their investments back in profit, I believe, which is a nice xmas top up.

Played well again and hungry for more. Eyeing up the 1k big game with 6k added by Genting in early January for my next stake. Redic high buy in so I may be asking for quite a bit of backing there, probably won't get the full backing but I am going to probably put up the request on Thursday regardless.

Hopefully can take the momentum into 2013 and the added comfort of playing overolled is superb. Probably always was the missing link for me.
