I like reading the updates and don't mind paying a 5'er a month for them...I don't want to pay for DTD's advertising budget for this event though, it shouldn't be up to blonde readers to ensure DTD gets enough runners for this event. (if you know what I mean)

Maybe the solution is a combination of these donations providing a percentage of the updates cost, and DTD paying for the rest?

As I understand it, that's highly unlikely.

Why do people seem to think that DTD should pay anything towards these updates?

The updates don't advertise DTD at all so where's the value for them?

When DTD were sponsoring them there were banners everywhere and Tighty would frequently be asking people to sign up to DTD, saying how great the place is, blah blah blah.......

If blonde pay for them it's for the benefit of blonde and it's members because we all seem to want them.

There won't be banners on the update page and Tighty won't go out of his way to push DTD at everyone.

DTD will be getting very little from it and their hospitality in allowing blonde to be there will more than cover the 3 or 4 extra players that might not have played if it weren't for the updates.

I think some people are grossly over estimating the impact blonde has on the deepstack comp. It may affect the number of blondes playing by a tiny % but that's it.

Hi,

This is my first post here, I am hoping to get the details of a chap who mentioned that he posted on/read this forum.

He was playing in the DTD £300 deepstack yesterday and we were on a table sitting next to each other. We both exited the tournament around the same time and I gave him a lift home to Wolverhampton with his brother, I can't remember his name, he was a Sikh bloke and I do remember his brother was called Gary though and I wanted him to drop me a line because I didn't get his number or anything and he seemed like a nice fella. PM me if you're out there mate!

N1 Jason, thank you, & well done yesterday.

I was very pleased also for Dylan Davies, who finished 12th, & young Rachael Costa (9th), who seems to me to be a very exciting prospect, & a really lovely girl. She made the Final of the Newcastle SPT as big Chip Leader, only to see her Aces busted by A-K. I've rarely met anyone who smiles so readily, she brightens up any Table.
