Oi!!!  Nothing wrong with being a bit quirky.

Definition of "bit", please?

Slight.  As opposed to huge.

As in "Pol Pot was slightly assertive".

Nah - he needed a heck of a lot more than a rubber room to sort him out.

what's a tripulation?

Oh, its a pun. Carry on v good.

Calgary. Know someone with relatives who emigrated there, and love it

I'm gonna ignore your feeble attempt at humour and move right on to the nuts and bolts...

Calgary, tell me more please!! My Daughter is planning on flying out tomorrow to stay with people she's been talking to for a year or so over the internet...I can't say I'm not worrying my socks of but, all things considered, I think it would be fantastic for her to get away for a week...I'd just like to know more about the place..and not the crap that wiki throws out either...

You don't need those links, here are the pros and cons to stopping smoking

Pros

Smoking is bad for you and others around you
Smoking costs money
Smoking causes inadvertant fires

Cons

Smoking is cool, if you quit smoking you will be less cool

[ ] Yesterday went well!!!!!!

The boiler decided to play at being a waterfall, which in turn killed the electrics, the t'interweb, the lights, and with it my daughters chance of getting to Canada...Of course it's MY fault for spending so long on the RSQ that she fell asleep (understandable considering the fecking length of it) and didn't book her tickets in time...With the advent of the loss of everything electrical, it meant that when she got up early doors couldn't book jack...

I actually feel quite enthused by the fact that Laura blames the RSQ as it means I can delegate responsibility to you set of feckers wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii (though I can't really include Claw as she took off after question 2...nor Tighty as he bust a vessel and took off around question 4) However.... I can probably pop some blame on the very lovely Vince for not fecking helping with the spreadsheet Wink

Realistically though, the blame has to be apportioned to the boiler!!!!!! So, the engineer has been and we need a new pressure gauge, he actually left the boiler turned off and unworkable  NO NO NO said I, this will neeeeevvvveeerrrr do - sneaky me and my trusty no-nails temporary plugged the leak so we have heat again...heat, is GOOD!!!!! Also, the electrics are now fine (once we changed the downstais bulbs and let the main site dry out) so we have t'inter, telly and all other lovely tea things!!!! Oddly enough, with the return of the t'inter...peace and harmony returned to the house

Laura is now umming and arrring about flying to Canada on Saturday for a short break and returning on Wednesday instead..Hmmm we'll see!!

Got class in an hour..Public Law [ ] YUMMY!!!

Wooooooooooooooooooo-hooooooooooooooooo

Decided to play betting at Cheltenham today GOGOGOGOGOGO me!!!

I never normally bet on the gee's (Grand National aside obv.) But as I desperately needed a bet for my Blonde Naps I decided to take the plunge...I have mini micro bets on 2 horses..both for the win and the the double each way

2.40 - Sybrights @ 17:1

&

4pm - Jaunty Flight @ 17:1

The double came in at 289:1 (Yea Right)

As I'm fecking USELESS at betting I don't expect much but hey ho...It gives me a reason to stay indoors on this fine and sunny day so I'm well pleased Wink

1st race coming up soon...Toes crossed!!!!!!
