training today planned 15 mile walk........

we managed just under... 14.6 miles    however using a stepometer to calculate the distance is not very accurate we have found before that you travel slightly further than it indicates.

we are estimating nearer 17-18 miles

i really enjoyed it and had quite a few running spells.

today's food,

0730 3 weetobix one tea spoon of honey skimmed milk
cup of tea one sugar.

1000 cup of tea one sugar.

1130 (early lunch due to walk) 3 very small wholemeal cobs with tuna and salad creme beetroot and pickled onions

1430 (mid walk) small tub of melon and banana

mid walk one small bottle of boost (energy drink)

1730 small fillet of cod (no batter) small fillet of smoked haddock, peas carrots and steamed potatoes
weight watchers nil  fat yogurt

1830 cup of tea one sugar.

When I was doing my weight loss, I quickly realised that weighing myself every day and posting the weight on my diary kept me on the straight and narrow.

Unfortunately Lee, one "Treat" day more or less undoes the benefits of the other 6 days.

Sorry mate, I didn't say it to punish you.

It's just that when I was on my weight loss diet, a day off put me back to square one for the week, I assumed it would probably be the same for you.

Harsh doesn't come in to it. It's just my opinion. There is no reason it should matter to you. You don't have to convince me that you do or do not deserve a treat day. (You will lose more weight by not having them though).

Good luck with it anyway.

no problem and thank you for the help and advice
as i said whether or not its correct or not to have a treat day i feel pissed off for having one, because of the way i feel i wont be having another one until after my walk.

i am aching allot from yesterdays walk but i will be out for a run tomorrow morning to try and make good the Chinese ....lol
i suppose its good that i feel this way
and i do appreciate your comments and support

Tut tut Lee, and wait till Matt finds out.

What was the Chinese you had? Some are a lot worse than others. Then you had a chocolate bar to top it off?!
