Well done Lee. I can say how pleased I am for you and I'm really happy to have been able to help a little bit.

This is what people pay sponsorship money for. Lot's of effort and actually putting yourself out for a good cause.

People won't mind that you didn't quite make your target. The effort was there and you didn't just want their money for nothing.

Much respect heading your way pal.

Stick to the healthy diet, combined with regular exercise and you'll soon make your target.

If you're anything like me, you need something to aim for to motivate you to exercise. So look for another challenge to do later in the year and train towards that.

Legs being sore is a good thing. Enjoy it.

Your next effort doesn't have to be a charity gig, just set yourself another challenge. Plenty of walks about, just ask technolog on here as he's done a fair few and is based in Leicester.

A few more questions Lee..

Where did you stay overnight?

Where did you park while you did the walk?

Was the route easy to follow?

Was there anywhere to refill water bottles / buy drinks?

I noticed on your photos Lee that there were loads of other people doing the walk.

Was June 11th a special organised event or is it always that busy?
