On a proper budget there is this place: never stayed there, but had some student mates who loved it: http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-reservations/14316_generator-london-london.aspx (0.3 miles from kings x) I got a last minute deal at Novotel which was amazing through laterooms.com but they don't seem to have the same deal att. might do a bit closer to the time. Most of the decent price hotels at Kings X are Sold out for the sat... +1 to Woodseys comment. had already typed this out and couldnt be bothered deleting... 2 night min stay, but full anyway. Thought you were going down on the sat and leaving on the Monday? Sorry man. wasn't full when i checked earlier. Save yaself hotel money and get a 24hr pub

Just go to laterooms, com and see what there is for the price mate. There are sometimes good deals to be had, other times not.
I normally do this just with there being a few blondes on here who know London well and me not knowing it very well at all I'm just trying to find out where the best location would be for us to stay.

Best bet is to go on priceline.co.uk and select you area and 4 star up. Put in a bid for 70 quid and you will get a decent hotel. Normlly they are Hiltons, marriotts, Sheratons etc.

Cheers, just what I was looking for when I'm sharing a room with me Dad and whilst I'm at the hotel I'll either be very drunk or very hungover

If u really wanna be cheap just get one room and pile in together in 1 room
Subway is accross the road and some italian chinese restaurant mcds
Only annoying thing is u hear a fuck load of police sirens in the morning

+ KFC. Although thinking about it, it could be a chicken cottage imitation thing. Either way it heats up dead chickens.

It's cheap if you're just looking at the hotel's standard internet rates, but there are always deals about; it's a cheap standard rate but it's a bad 'deal'.
