When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

I used to use a bookmakers shop owned by Percy Lewis, former British Empire featherweight boxing champ..

In my early teens, my parents used to run the social club at Witney Town FC. I got to know this guy, who was coach for 18 months or so in 1970/1..

When I was at school, I thought it was cool that I was in the same class as the sister of an Oxford Utd footballer. In recent years I have bought a washing machine, fridge/freezer and a tumble dryer from his white goods shop..

I bumped into Andy Cole (ex Newcastle & Man Utd) at the airport yesterday.
[X] He was nice enough to say sorry even though I bumped into him.

My former next-door-but-one neighbour's nephew was the lead singer of Supergrass.

Best thread ever obviously.

Teddy Sheringham came up to m at a poker tournament and said "Are you the Camel?" When I nodded yes he said "Pleased to meet you, my name is Teddy"

Shane Warne bought me a beer once.

A lad I've worked with for 6 months told me on Thursday he was a session drummer with Savage Garden on their US tour a few years ago. He said it was awesome because as the 2 main men were gay he and the rest of the musicians got to shag the groupies. Lol

Met Louis Theroux on a train, had an interesting conversation about vegas, gambling etc.

When I was a fitness instructor I gave a Gym Induction to Helen Baxendale just before she became famous in Doctors.

Jeff Astle used to clean my late Grandma's windows.

Celtic once bought me dinner at the "Luton G"

When I worked at the Tamworth Snow Dome I worked with "Eddie The Eagle Edwards"

When I was 18 and out on the town with my brother, Rolf Harris stopped his car to ask directions to a gig he was doing in Birmingham and obv we sent him miles from where he needed to be and the rest of the night had "Can you guess where I am yet?" running through our teenage minds.

I once drove Dubai to DTD from Essex for a Tourney but he then showed his  "A List" celeb status by Balling all the way home in a taxi!!!
